I love that so many of your tips apply to older models too. I only just learned from you about double-tapping the break button to extend the break, and will no doubt be over-using it to simulate drum solos on my pa-700 for the foreseeable future.
Loved this! One again, I learned a great deal from you about my Pa5x. For example, I had no idea (and I'm probably the only one) that the little number counts down the # of measures on the display when playing intros! Also, you are right. I have never used the search function. I had not even noticed it before but it's very cool. I also didn't realize you could set the Pa5x to always switch to keyboard set 1 when switching styles. The fact that it didn't do that automatically has always annoyed me. Loved this so much I posted it in the Facebook Pa5x user group. Hopefully others will find your videos helpful too! Thank you for doing these and I look forward to more!
@@ScanKeyboards Hi... Nice content❤ your way of teaching is too good... Please guide where to get expansion packs, extended styles and voices for pa5x.. also please teach how to create new styles... thanks...
Hi Adam, one thing I miss from Yamaha arrangers is the registration bank that includes a chosen style along with the equivalent of a keyboard set. Is there any way of reproducing this without heading into the songbook ? Having this feature would make it a perfect arranger.
I have to admit, the keyboard sets concept took some getting used to but there are many benefits to it as I have learned. Now I like it much better as it gives the user more creative control over sounds, effects, layers, etc.
Don't see anyone demonstrating the use of the ribbon controller which can create some very nice effects. Perhaps some users place there cigaret butts there instead. Lol

I tried KORG, ROLAND, CASIO, and Yamaha workstations and found them all to be difficult to work on, except the Yamaha. Comparatively easy.

@@billfriesTPA You prefer it more than a Yamaha registration button that allows you to include a style ?
