      Thanks so much, that's so kind of you, and thanks for the sub! I'm (finally) getting a new video up today - I hope you like it too!

    I used to live in Wellington and get massively ‘upside-down home’-sick, so love seeing all the take off and landing videos and views of the harbour. You just can’t Welly it on a good day!

      Thanks for sharing! And thanks to Covid all I have is domestic flights at the moment, and my next one is coming into Wellington from the north on a lovely clear winter morning, and I was in F so nice views of the city. All I need a a few more hours on it to get all the bits and bobs ironed out...

      @@SupersonicKiwi Oh, how lovely! And the one in this video was far too smooth to be realistic [joking!] - if it doesn't feel a bit like being on a rollercoaster without a track, it can't really be Wellington airport, can it? ;) Thanks for such a lovely channel, and please eat some Whittaker's Hokey Pokey for me.

      @@AnnCharlesMedia Haha! When I was starting this channel I was thinking I'd get some excellent 'white knuckle' landings and go-rounds at Wellington, but the reality is that mostly the take offs and landings are fine - and these days most of the Air New Zealand pilots keep their nose down until late in the approach, so you don't get as much tension on that final part of the flight!
      And thanks for your kind words - it's a bunch of effort, so I'm really glad someone likes watching.
      And I will gladly eat 3 or 4 king size bars on your behalf. I know this is a bit controversial, but I really like the Jelly Tip blocks, so maybe I'll have one of those for you too...

    hopefully one day I'll get ZK-OAB to fly on. never seem to get ZK-MVA

    • @SupersonicKiwi
      @SupersonicKiwi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it’s fun to try and collect the full set! I haven’t been on all of the ATRs yet, not by a long shot - I don’t fly the routes they’re on often enough. Sadly OAB is the same as all the others on the inside - you can’t tell how cool you look on the outside!

      @@SupersonicKiwi I go out of my way to fly on the A320's. too easy to fly direct
      from Palmerston north anyway.

    Great video sir and just want to know what camera you used ?

      Hello random person on the Internet! I'm pleased you like my video. This one was shot 100% on my iPhone7, which is slightly astounding. I also have a Cannon M6 and a DJI Osmo Pocket that I use for footage, but didn't have either with them with me this day (this flight was a day trip for work, and was unexpectedly clear skies).

    The All Blacks plane

    • @SupersonicKiwi
      @SupersonicKiwi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I was hoping it would be a bit different and special on the inside, but it’s the same as all of Air New Zealand’s other A320s. It’s a great looking plane on the outside though!

      Well…..this is problematic…..we have now watched every single video you’ve ever made, now just suffering withdrawals while we wait for every single video you will ever make. Please go and review your local library or something….review your reviews?
      Interesting how you blurred your name on a baggage tag at a self service. But I think my sneaky eye might have caught it in another video. That’s if ‘GV’ fits lol.

      @@rodsloan3810 Oh no! I'll need to get cutting faster! I have two on the go at the moment, but it'll be a few weeks before either of them is ready to publish - it takes 1-2 hours per minute to produce them, and I have a day job: sadly 260 subs pays zero bills, although my watch time stats are high enough already, which is pretty cool.
      I work in an area where I see some pretty dodgy behaviours, and I am super aware of maintaining the privacy of random people in my videos, including myself - you'd be surprised how little information you need to screw up someone's flight bookings, or indeed their life. A name isn't too bad on it's own, but in conjunction with a flight booking reference or loyalty programme membership number it can be very disruptive - you certainly don't want to make it too easy for the bad guys... Enable 2-factor on EVERYTHING!
      I'm actually really surprised how few other travel vloggers blur out the faces of people in their videos - I'm pretty sure not doing so breaks a few EU privacy laws, which apply to EU citizens wherever they are in the world (mostly in relation to the storage of personally identifying data, but it some of it applies to published photos and videos as well). But I guess each to their own - I'll keep doing it the way I believe is best and they can keep doing their thing.
