I have a suggestion for a series. We are building a house and it's overwhelming when picking out all the things that go into it. What would be helpful to me is to get your opinion on what items are the best to clean and maintain. For example, fiberglass or tile showers? Countertops? What would you pick if this was your home? I love learning from you and appreciate any help you can send my way.
OMG I LOVE you!!! I just returned a ozone machine because I didn't know a reason to use and now I learned this!!! I hate bleach smell, I will just order another machine right now!!! I learned a lot of things in this channel, this lady is genius and so lovely!!! I would just make a suggestion for this channel, you should use a normal cozy house on the background like record your videos on your own living room or office, or even a patio, this wallpaper with cleaning products is not very attractive, showing a tied house would be much more cozy and inviting, you would get much more followers...I don't wanna be intrusive, only help to show your potencial with this little marketing technique. Thank for all the amazing tips!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am so grateful for all of the information you share with us. I am not a housecleaner - just someone who wants to do a better job at keeping my own house clean. I have had terrible experiences with awful house cleaners over the years. I would hire your company immediately if I lived in your area. Thank you for the second- best option of allowing us all to learn from you!!!
Oh wow, that is so nice of you to say. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and support and for spending a few minutes of your day here with me. I appreciate you. :-)
I also would like to add that a good mask (if you don't have a respirator) for protect against bleach is a 3M 8576, I usually buy it on eBay since this is one of the rare things that is hard to find on Amazon in US, I paid $19.90 in my last one and I use it all the times when I clean my shower or when I go to my country and I don't want to breath the perfume smells that is used there every where
I've always said (and I am not putting anyone down) that it's sort of amazing how many people don't actually realize that there is a description under most videos.
First person here :)Not meant to be working today, but I'm here waiting for the other cleaner, she's pushing it thinking she can get this job done before service. Please pray she hurries up!
Woot Woot! There should be a prize for being the first to comment on a video. How about a high five? 🖐 And here's hoping that your day is effective, efficient and that all the things you clean shine and sparkle. Thanks for dropping by. 😍
Thanks. I harp on how I initiated asthma/response to chemicals. Unknowingly, I did not thoroughly rinse in between BarKeepersFriend and Tilex. Terrible to mix! And now I have asthma.
Thank you Angela! I always, always feel soo inspired watching your videos. I always feel like you’re walking with me every day, thank you 🙏 love and hugs from England ❤️
Good advice! Over years in the foodservice industry, we used bleach to disinfect but there was always one person I'd have a disagreement with over its use. Several employees would mix bleach with dish liquid. I could smell it....you can't hide a thing like that and we'd go round and round. Seems they thought why wash, rinse then disinfect if I can just wash with the mixture and get it done with. Except the fumes from that mixture can be toxic! Thanks for letting us know we can use bleach on the shower without hurting the finishes or ourselves.
You are correct. NOTHING should be mixed with bleach. *You can dilute it with water, but please, no mixing any other chemical with bleach. The results can be unlucky.
I know you said it's recommended to use the ozone device but is it absolutely necessary? Because if so I'm going to be scared to use bleach. I don't mind using a mask thanks to the Rona but I also use them when I scoop litter boxes to prevent toxoplasmosis.
Wearing a mask may prevent you from inhaling some of the fume from bleach - but the fumes are still in the air. The ozone generator is an added service not just to you but the clients you serve.
Hi Angela 😊😊love your videos!! Have you ever tried the dollar store cleaning products, sponges, microfiber cloths and tools. What do you think of them and do you recommend any?
Yes, the Dollar Store or Dollar Tree have many brand name cleaning chemicals and tools. If you're just starting out a cleaning business or you're a homeowner cleaning your own home it may be a great place to stock up on start up supplies. If you are a professional cleaner you'll use a lot of cleaning supplies and $1. per bottle gets really expensive after a minute. We usually buy gallon concentrates that can be diluted into ready-to-use strengths, are more environmentally friendly, and cost a fraction of the price.
@@AskAngelaBrown this is just for my own house. I love cleaning my house and love good cleaning products. Especially anything that smells like orange. Have you ever tried the dollar store brand of cleaning products? If so, what do you think of them. I was just at the Christmas tree shop and found Brillo brand all-purpose foam spray cleaner and tried it out in the store with a napkin, I sprayed the napkin and wiped the metal shelf that had a spot of rust on it and it took it right off. So I bought all 13 cans they were marked down to 58 cents per can. Then I looked on the back and noticed it was made in Turkey and not in the USA I wonder if they have a different chemical makeup for their products they make there.
My favorite silly thing people do with bleach is putting it in warm or hot water 🙄 some people think it's silly to read instructions but it clearly says on the back that warm water deactivates the bleach so all you get is that stinking smell 😬 The BEST bleach I have ever used is ssdc Contender bath cleaner an destainer w/ bleach.(white bottle, pink label) I've never had it damage anything including stainless but it does say to not use it on wood. Its a foaming spray, spray it on let it sit for minute and it removes stains that have been there for years. The smell is amazing 👏 it's used in commercial businesses, comes in a 6-count box. It's a little expensive but worth every penny. Because I have small kiddos I personally have switch to all natural products other than this one 😍
I’m watching you on my phone & on my ROKU. Lots of youtube videos you click and a drop down menu shows the links to the products. I’m not seeing that on yours. Any suggestions? Thank you
Hello! Could you please give me some tips on how to use bleach to clean my home (floors and bathroom I guess) in a safe way (I don't have an ozone machine) and how much bleach into the water? 🙏 Also, can I wipe my floors first with floor cleaner, let it dry, and then use bleach? Once I wipe my floors with water+bleach, do I have to wipe again with just water or am I done?
The strength of bleach solution depends on the surface you're planning to clean. It's important to remember that bleach cannot be used on some surfaces like hardwood floors or untreated wood. This video contains detailed instructions for safe bleach use in cleaning. You can also find more video on this topic by typing "bleach" in the channel search bar
It sounds strange, but I sometimes use those disposable pads for cleaning a toilet to clean the shower / tub instead. (No mixing! It’s fresh from the package and straight into the shower / tub). There’s cleaner embedded (don’t think it contains any bleach, though - must check) and the scrubbing pad makes it easy to scrub tiles and tub material. Plus, there’s little to no odor. If you use the wand attachment, there’s less bending and getting on knees. The only downside is that it usually takes more than one because the embedded cleaner material runs out, so it can get a little expensive.
Do you mean the Clorox toilet wand? Interesting, so you use it for cleaning the shower? I can see how the handle would prevent less bending. Thanks for the tip.
that’s brilliant. i have a ton of those but no wand and they discontinued making the ones i have so now i can use them for other things. that never crossed my mind before
I work in a condominium building and we really sprayed bleach on everything during covid and it damaged workout machines, doors, discolored everything but at that time we were told to just get it done but now we see the results of that period today
It's unfortunate that this situation has led to such consequences. I hope you managed to change the routine and switched to less damaging product or a more diluted version of bleach cleaner
Great safety follow-up video, working as a Housekeeper very familiar with Ozone machines as many guests smoke cigarettes in the rooms and we need to use these to remove the odour, I had never thought before to use one for bleach, unfortunately vaxx mandate put me out of a job, so I can't really recommend this to my old boss anymore.
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I'm crossing my fingers and saying a prayer you find wonderfully inspiring employment that pays more than your last job. 🙏
I see these videos online people mix bleach with dawn dish soap. Please! Will you make a video on mixing chemicals? I wish dawn would print their warning larger on the bottles. Anyone that reads this… don’t mix bleach with dawn!
As I mentioned in the video, to ensure safety, it's crucial to keep everyone out of the room while the ozone generator is running and ventilate the area afterward. This way, we can minimize any potential risks. Hope this helps!👍
