Today’s the night before my biochem exam-was searching for videos to get a clearer understanding of carbohydrates, but couldn’t find any decent ones. This was THE ONE. You watered down everything so well, thank you. 😭😭😭

This is excellent ! Thank you so much ! Your explanation of lactose intolerance was not only fascinating to hear but incredibly easy to understand :) (it only took me one video to subscribe to your channel)
Studying an integrated masters in Osteopathy in the UK - all of your content has been so helpful to me. I can sit and revise while looking after my baby. I spent time in NSW as a boy and goal is to eventually raise my son in Australia . . . .your content is helping me achieve that through my studies - it's very well delivered, thank you
You make learning this stuff interesting again. I was nearly crying early today because I couldn't understand the concepto from class, and was beggining to lose passion/interest. Thank you so much for your help 🙏
Thank you teacher! You helped me get an overview of this chapter, biomolecules, which we study at 12th grade chemistry in India. I have the final exams in just a few days, and you saved me the hassle of going through long boring lectures to get the concepts right!
THANK YOU! your explanation really help me sum up this topic. on 6:29 you mention cows having an enzyme that breaks down cellulose but to my knowledge they rely on micro-organisms living inside their digestive system for that.
You know I have seen your lecture now and I am just guilt of myself that why I don't know you before and I have wasted my time in many others academies and other teacher .....you make me really proud ❤❤❤❤

Forming a disaccharide via dehydration (removing H2O or HOH) does NOT involve a C-OH and a C-H yielding a C-C bond. It involves two C-OH yielding a C-O-C bond between the two monosaccharides
Thank you so much! I have a doubt, if the lactose is a huge molecule and gets too much water into the intestine because of being undigested, how come the cellulose fibers don't cause that effect - and makes digestion better instead?
It was just like someone opened my mind inserted all the concepts in and took all the confusion out. Thanks for such an amazing lecture.
Really

Or... some "step-product" of glycolisis?
Please can I get tutorials on bond formation and molecules
Novak Djokovic has the enzyme for rehydrating cellulose.

Thank you Dr but i think in galactose structure there is missing one (H)
Amazing one💀

hello sir i think you forgot to write H recheck the galactose structure again which should be connected to C and CH2OH
I think there is a mistake at the galactose formula the upper carbon must contain one hydrogen attached to it.
Thnkz
