You are amazing. How you can keep it all straight and remember all the technical terms is crazy. I love it tho-I’m 67 -wish I had enough years left to go back to school in biology/physiology but I’m still paying for my accounting degree I got at age 50 😊. I quit school at age 15- got my GED then went on and got college degree at 50-the good that came from that is my insatiable desire to learn-so thank you for all your great material. Kathy
Hi, Dr. Thank you very much for sharing this interesting video. I have a small doubt here: You started with plant carbohydrates, starch, and cellulose, and at the end, you showed it had been converted to Maltose, Maltotriose, sucrose, lactose, and alpha dextrin. I am not able to understand how Lactose is formed from starch and cellulose digestion?
Carbs are not required exogenously by the human body. We only need between 4 to 5g glucose at any given time. Our best and most efficient fuel source, are ketone bodies, coming from fat. Fats and proteins are the only macro nutrient we require. All plants are carbs, and only carbs can cause t2 diabetes. Eat a carnivore diet and maintain optimal health. Its irrefutable
have an exam on this in 2 weeks and I can't stress how much your videos have helped me. More than my own teacher in class. You're a legend Dr Mike !!
Best of luck! 🤞🏽 😊
I just want to say again that you are the saviour of all medical students.❤️
You are the best! I could not pass my exams without your excellent teaching technique, thank you soooooo much.

some doctors say the liver turn Fructose in fats, not into glucose
Not necessarly a bad thing if you burn it.
@@geogeo1889 but they say that the fat stay inside the liver , they say it is fatty liver
@@lookthecity01 yes, fat which should be used by the liver when in ketosis, because is already in the or near the liver.
❤❤❤
