I had COVID that lasted around 12 days. At first, I believed I was ok until I started to lose more hair than usual. I am also from pharma field, just adding my point of view, topical use of minoxidil has not directly cause ED or libido, even those occur,might accompanied with other health issues! If u have proper diet,exercise and low stressful life, is safe to use the minoxidil for a long time even the side effect may there, which is manageable. There is no study, showing the inverse proportions of this medication with sexual health. But whenever you decided to go with monoxidil use, should consult helath care provider and go with their advice

The medicine you are talking about is Finestride, not Minoxidil. Minoxidil is just a solution which increases blood flow towards scalp when applied.
Both finasteride and minoxidil will reduce free testosterone. Try to avoid using it

It was initially invented to increase blood pressure in certain region and later it was discovered that it causes hair growth on the area it is applied to.. so from there its application started in hair growth.
