Girona!!❤❤ I was born in Barcelona and I visited and still visit Barcelona city a lot, in fact I live in Barcelona's province. But the city I really love to visit, especially during May during the festival "Temps de Flors" is Girona. And yes, I can tell he is not from Girona because of his Catalan accent. Girona's Catalan accent is very distinctive, it's the Eastern Catalan dialect which is more open than the Central Catalan dialect, which is the one spoken in Barcelona's province. At the "Plaça de la Independècia" (Independece Square) I danced some Sardanes last year for Sant Jordi.
Ahh I’ve seen pictures of temps de flors and it looks amazing 😍 I’d love to see it one day! But you’re right - he’s originally from Olot. But he did live in Girona for a few years ^_^
@@NataliesPassport That's odd then, he has no Olot accent, I mean, Olot is still Girona's province. Let me dind someone from La Garrotxa, which is the county of Olot (Olot is the capital from La Garrotxa). And then I'll find someone from Barcelona, and I hope you can tell the difference: th-cam.com/video/PZNl9U9x2rA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JK0yThNHK9xW6JEM She is a singer, she competed on the talent show called: "Eufòria". She's currently representing the role of Sarabi (Simba's mother) on The Lion King's Musical in Madrid. And now here's Suu, she is a famous catalan singer, she was born in Barcelona city but if I do remember correctly, she's from Sabadell, which is still Barcelona's province and still Central Catalan, you'll see the difference right away, Núria speaks a bit more open but sometimes she closes the vowels, she pronounces the letter "o" quite differently: th-cam.com/users/shortsPLxEy9RWBeQ?si=vOns1d5gcvYeK1N8 So, if he's from Olot, I would expect him to have Núria's accent, or a bit similar, amd yet, the way he pronounced the names of the streets, he sounded more like Suu. But I suppose this can happen, I mean, I was born in Barcelona city and I lived there only for seven years, then I moved to the Maresme's county, which is still Barcelona's province, but it borders with the Girona's province, so, after living slightly more than 20 years here I still speak the Central Catalan dialect, but a bit more open, my accent is sort of Eastern-Central Catalan. My mum and dad though, they kept their accents. And then my sister is a weird case, 'cause she kept the Central Catalan accent (probably because she tends to speak Spanish more than I do and that might make her Catalan a bit more closed) but then she visited our family in the Lleida's Pyrenees and she caught their accent, which is more like Lluis's accent, who is the current winner from the third season of "Eufòria": th-cam.com/video/g8WSnQTZSic/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pM5pq94qLpmf43gg There are more dialects and accents, but I think I showed you some interesting things that can happen when we move around.
Hei both of you I liked your video.Generally while visiting any country many tourists are opting to travel on MTB bicycles and covering all the beautiful sites.i have enjoyed a lot while watching your video.I want to know about the Season in Spain and the Climate conditions,Sun Rise and Sun set timings
Thank you ❤️ Carles’s family lives in the north of Spain so winters can get cold! But the summers are also hot. Last month we were eating dinner outside at 9:30pm and it still wasn’t dark 😍😍😍
Awww lol you’re right!! Honestly like half of my clothes still are from either chatuchak or Union mall in Phahonyothin 😅🤣 I miss shopping at both of those SO MUCH!!! We can’t wait to come back to Thailand next year! ❤️❤️❤️
This city definitely has no electricity, because I still haven't seen a single utility pole and tangled wires in this city. Stopping by to say hello from Thailand.🤭😁😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 now you know why when foreigners get to Thailand and see all the wires they go 😱🤣 but we miss those wires so much 🥺❤️❤️❤️ (Also I promise Girona has electricity hidden in there somewhere 😅❤️)
Gerona (in spanish) is the town where Carles Puigdemont was born and despite what you can think is a place plagued by totalitarism where if you are a politician who thinks different, yo and your family will be harassed and they will throw bleach on the floor after any demonstration you might want to put together, not to mention physical violence. So despite the peaceful looks, there is really a sick society there where spanish speaking people (remember that no matter anybody tells you this is Spain) will be harassed, deprived of their constitutional rights in terms of education and people like the ones who get there from Andalucia to build the region, are treated like inferior, discriminated and seriously insulted at any given occasion. So you just know.
Gerona comes from Gerunda, which is Latin. It's, really sad that you are so misinformed, on a lot of topics. But, luckly for us a lot of people will come to Girona, visit the city, and see your lies for what they are "frankie numbers". Why I'm most interested is in the fact that you're spreading this lies? Why? I'm half Andalusian living in Girona. "Constitutional Rights" and so on (please read the Spanish Constitution as you haven't read it),... why? Why all the lies? As I've said, luckly for us, a lot people (more and more everyday) comes to Girona and sees the reality for themselves.
@@liwyatan It doesn't matter where it came from, the truth is that the criminal Puigdemont is from there and they promote hatred towards anything that has anything to do with Spain or the Spanish culture, hell they even used to throw bleach on the spots where constitutional parties like Ciudadanos set their acts- these people have been trying to destroy the Spanish political Nation, for a long time anyway, chances are that they will end up like another criminals like Companys. Time will tell.

I’m not aware of that part of it.. but my ex lived there and my sister and her Murcian boyfriend came to visit us and they loved Girona too 🤷♀️

Stop telling lies and rubbish, please. We are not here to talk about politics.
