    Great job!
Can you describe the entire process here, please? What do you use and why?

Great job on the shine, although I felt the camera was zoomed in too close and your work was often out of view. To make it worse we were frequently staring at the used soles of the shoes which wasn't too pleasant. But the Shine was great obviously.

well, yes, Meermin does offer the best value GYW shoes on the market. Some of their regular/classic lines are made in China of very high quality products, then finished in Spain. Top of the line model like these shoes here are fully made in Spain

The soles suggest they have been worn however there is no crease on the vamp... How?

    • @newinspiration2108

      4 elements:
      1-the fit is spot on.
      2-high quality leather.
3-good quality fully lasted shoes trees.
      4-the frequency of wear.

I really wish Meermin would reintroduce these shoes into their line up(or as a mto option) because they are beautiful.

it's a shame that they stop making this model, such a beautiful model. Maybe the cost of production just lowered their profit too far compared to others.

    • @abelinfante4707

Unfortunately, you most likely are right. Which is a shame really since even if they were to price these higher than what they were originally selling it at, it would still be worth it to buy given the quality of construction.

I just got an email about these being added to their MTO groups section

      perfect! Jump on it!
they don't do wholecut with Norvegese welt that often! The new GMTO Meermin is doing is a huge upgrade from mine: 5 eyelets vs 3 eyelets, sleek soft chisel Elton last vs round toe Hiro last.

I never hear of this brand, are they anygood? Better the Johnson and Murphy (high end models) or Allen Edmonds? Also, nice shine.

these are of course many, many steps above both JM and AE.

    • @DesertDetective
      @DesertDetective 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I wouldn't agree with Meermin being any steps above AEs. They use same quality materials except Meermin uses 100% leather stacked heals, which is really their only quality advantage. Meermin's huge disadvantage is they are mass produced in a Chinese Factory and have had many more QC issues over the years, than AE. As far as the Lasts, it really depends on peoples feet and the way they walk, so not a universal fair comparison.
