This person thinks he's entitled to tell me I can't walk in a public stream. Remember it's okay to be suspicious. People walk up to me all the time, just concerned that I could be doing something wrong, and there's nothing wrong with that. There are lots of terrible people in the world, and that person doesn't know me. But coming off aggressively is the issue

This is a fact. Put on a high-vis and a hard hat and you have access to just about any space you could think of without arousing any suspicion whatsoever. And if you want access inside a building, wear a decorators bib and brace underneath. Security guards/ receptionists always assume youre just doing your job and someone forgot to infirm them.
Several years ago I took a family trip up the east coast from NC. Never in my life did I find more unfriendly people than I did in MA and CT. I was happy to be back home in NC
Some, well actually most, of the people I've met in my lifetime that are very likable and have the best attitudes are from North Carolina, I lived there for nineteen years and I do miss my friends down there, the main reason I moved up to northern Pennsylvania is because I wanted to have the four seasons again, and of course I really really miss the great food from down south

Some people are so unhappy with their own lives that they have to spread the misery. I had neighbors like that once, truly ugly people, and I'm not talking about appearance. True ugliness comes from within. The best you can do is not engage them.

Nope first-person, many have stopped to ask what I'm doing, the police and Department of Transportation have showed up a few times and didn't really care just told me to be careful. I've had the police called on me but this is the first person to ever get angry

When I still lived in Upstate NY my uncle used to own a very long strip of land between a river and a highway. Some jerkwad called the cops on us camping because he thought that we were illegally on land that was access controlled even though there's a giant fence that restricted access to the highway. Even when my uncle told him no there's a fence right over there he still acted like this guy. He even came on our property to confront my uncle who immediately had him trespassed when the state police showed up lol.
Post 10...you are doing great work. The hardest task is convincing angry people. We quote you at my job when our parking lot floods and it makes the job fun.
