- How to Light Wine Bottles the Proper Way | I Wish I knew This Before!
In today's video, I show you how to light wine bottles the proper way. When I first started with product shoots, I used to use the blanket circular softboxes that I used for my talking head videos. Very good result with a minimal setup.
If there's a hand in the shot, like here, consider having them match their nail varnish to complement the colour palette of the shoot.

Hey Mario, great video! I liked your explanation and I totally get you with the use of space and having to use a tighter focal length (I do the same in my living room). I guess maybe that is also the reason of why on the last shot the left glasses are not both fully in the frame? Just asking....my OCD is killing me :) Anyway, keep it up!

Also, the final product video was in 16:9 and my TH-cam video was in 2:1 so I had to crop in a bit. 😅
What are your focus settings manual or auto? And what lens do you typically use for product videos?
I use both. If I'm doing macro, I do manual. I use a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and a sigma 105mm f2.8 marco art lens
