Always surprises me how much Joel actually seems to "get" horror games compared to a lot of other games he plays. Maybe playing all those OBJECTIVE KILL dreg made him fine-tuned to recognize something that has effort put into it.
I think it also just comes with the territory. Horror can get super "tropey" (and Joel was doing quite a bit of trope-calling in the first 40-50 minutes of the full stream), but when it all comes together and is done super well that doesn't matter when it's got you hooked.

From the title, I'd originally think this game's narrative was gonna be in the same vein as the movie The Stuff. However, this game's actually pretty serious. So, nice to see it surpass my expectations
From the title I thought the game was gonna be like Mortuary Assistant but about washing the corpse's teeth, which would have been horrifying. The game actually does dark humor pretty well, the whole mouthwash thing never made the story feel any less serious
I thought that the game was basically about a deformed man addicted to mouthwash who ends up killing all of his neighbours within the apartment-complex through their own incompetence (basically a slasher-flick from the eyes of a murderer). Needless to say, I was pretty shocked when I found out it was in space.
