    I had to double check your living costs. Wow!
    We live in a 3 bed villa, pay for everything, rent, DEWA, petrol, car ins, health insurance, mobiles, home internet, drinking water, twice weekly car wash, Tv streaming, pool, gym, grocery for two, two cats, for 9320 aed.
    We don’t do all the subscriptions, school fees, etc. Nor do we use Salik or have a maid. We bought a used car for cash a lot cheaper than in the UK.
    So we live a more frugal existence but are more than happy and are saving like crazy.
    I’d love to know your maids expenses.
    Don’t forget to put money away for your retirement. One day you will need it wherever you are.

      May I know please which area is that affordable rent villa 3 bedroom? Interesting to me❤

    • @RushmoorFizzbomb
      @RushmoorFizzbomb 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@caffeNoizette DH2 3beds start at approximately 70k aed. This is cheap for Dubai. Move 15 minutes closer to the city and you can add another 50k.
      This is still relatively expensive to many parts of the world, but it’s as affordable as it gets.

    • @caffeNoizette
      @caffeNoizette 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @RushmoorFizzbomb thanks for your reply, indeed not a chance to get closer to the city for me if I had to consider moving there this year....I still feel that as long as am in safe area not so out of Dubai and close to kids school which takes major part in this, That would be good. Al KaraMA , bur Dubai is my thinking....as long as I can save bit and pleasant area thats the most....

    Why do you pay for Entertainer membership? many banks give free membership (e.g., HSBC) on any half-decent credit card. For your viewers, it is possible to live decently in a lot less than this. I am single and spend around 6K-7K inclusive of rent, so 24K is on the higher side, even for a family with 1 kid.

      @shinneljohnson  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey, thanks for your comment. Good luck on everything with the move, you won't regret it. Asking for school recommendations is like asking how long is a piece of string... there are so many factors that would contribute to this response i.e. cost, location, curriculum etc. However, I do know that the top British curriculum schools in Dubai happen to be, DESC, JESS, DC, JC. Dubai Hills is a lovely community area, especially for families.

    • @shinneljohnson
      @shinneljohnson  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, all positions are usually online via TES, there are lots of nurseries here. To my knowledge interviews are not paid for and are usually online if you are not already in Dubai/UAE at the point of interview.

      Hey - you don't have to be married to live together, the law changed a few years ago. Tech jobs are popular here, though I know it is harder to get a job here as it is so competitive. I would recommend getting a job here, before you move.
