Hey guys, Get the project files here if you're interested: 👨🏫 My Patreon link: www.patreon.com/kekdot Download Project Files | Premium Tutorials | Courses Just to let you guys know what we are making in this course, we are making a full multiplayer battle royale game. I am uploading one video each day. In short it will be PUBG but with Bean characters. We will have: - A Battle royale Map - Full Steam Session setup for connecting to games (Host, ServerBrowser, Join) - Multiplayer characters - Picking up Tools / Weapons - Multiple weapons - Lootcrates - Flying out of an airplane - All kinds of UI and HUD - Match flow logic And basically everything that a battle royale needs
Great Video. Love the series. i was curious about the Lootbox spawner and i tried to replicate it. You should not divide it by 2. Just simply put the box extend in the half size node and it will spawn in the correct range of the box size and not just in the center.
As I have a bunch of interiors made, decided to make a different loot spawner that is just an array of locations that are selected at random (having the actor be at world 0 so I didn't need to mess around with converting the local vectors to world). These tutorials are very good, best for multiplayer i've seen.
Great tutorials, very clear and easy to follow. Is it possible to determine a radius around the lootcrate where the next cannot spawn? Now there’s a chance for the lootcrates to overlap with eachother.
Yeach just make sure that each trace down does not hit an actor of the type Bp_Lootcrate. So for each linetrace down do a check to see that the Hit actor is not equal to Lootcrate actor
thank you so much for the amazing tutorials!! Is there a way to make the boxes spawned to be located above the ground/landscape? not on the ground. I have PCG grass and it's hard to see them. So I was thinking it would be great if I can spawn them and make them float in the air?
Hi no matter what I try to do, all the line traces spawn in the middle, in one big cluster. I've tried the fix from next video, but nothing is working? :)
the content is very good, but after completing the tutorial, after reviewing it several times, in my project all the chests are in the center of the map, this rando logic is not working
@@Kekdot Thank you for responding, your content is very good and educational, I'm really inclined to join your community after this series, about my problem, in fact after banging my head against the wall all day, I discovered that when adjusting the size from the box, I did it on the scale and not on the "box extend", and this prevented the distribution of my chests

These are the most consistent and well explained tutorials for creating an actual working multiplayer game in Unreal Engine.

Lol you’re so right, I’ll quickly correct that in the next video 🤣

keep it up man, these are gold tutorials!😀
Would love to see an inventory and crafting element implemented to this!
Exactly what I was looking for 👍😁
Very nice! Thank you!
Would love to see multi seated vehicles for the battle royal
Both beans. This would make a great br called Bean warfare, but the plain should just be a can that says beans
could you do a tutorial for a basic Lobby system with this, where we can change the colour of our bean, i think it would be awesome.

hey bro i followed ur tutorial but when i simulate play only one box spawn on the map and also half size of the box is beneath the landscape
You missed a step please watch again
@Kekdot hey so now the box isnt spawning half in the landscape but still only one box is spawning please help
Do you know how to import animatioms from blockbench?
Never hear of blockbench

Yeah don’t divide the HalfBox size, just directly plug the size into the half size vectors.
In the next video I correct it
