The main problem with henchmen is that there is no agreement regarding what actually disables them. Some henchmen can be taken out with a single punch, kick or vase broken over their head. Alternatively, henchmen in martial arts and superhero films keep coming back for more no matter how many roundhouse kicks and flying punches the hero delivers to them. The deciding factor seems to be whether it is basically time for all baddies to lie down and nap so our main character can get on with the plot.
A video actually analyzed Storm Trooper scenes and found they have a SHOCKINGLY high accuracy rate in the films. It's important to remember that in a New Hope, the empire canonically LET the heroes escape so they could track them back to the rebel base. The stormtroopers were missing on purpose.
In World of Warcraft a totally random minion happens to deal a deadly blow to Voljin... who dies because of this. Some people were angry because of this, personally I like it when no-names kill named characters, makes their presents meaningful.
Some other notable candidates are the 2 Gamorean Guards from the Book of Boba Fett. They don't do nearly as much as the guys in this video, but they were good boys were did their best. :D Also for another Batman goon, the one Riddler minion from the new batman film that literally blasted Batman with a shot gun and almost killed him several times. Absolute legend. XD
