Oh my word, this is beautiful quality! I first saw this and was like, "oh, cool, an official upload of the soundtrack," then I heard the audio...my word, this is nice. I would kill to hear more of the soundtracks this way. For those who want the times for each piece...

The only thing I found missing from this was the in-game music from Things From Space, but otherwise this is fantastic. So glad to finally hear a lot of this in super crisp quality!
I know I recognize the first "unknown" one, but I'm pretty the other ones that you've never heard before are indeed unused tracks.

At first I thought it was the Caped Cod Performs Alone, but the first unknown one is a lot longer and very different; the ACTUAL CCPA piece comes later on the soundtrack.
Mr. Eight-Three-One Oh, that must be it then. My guess is that they originally had 3 Caped Cod paths (resulting in 3 different CC performance cutscenes) but they cut one path after the soundtrack was already recorded.

Oh my lord, you lot NEED to release the game soundtracks on steam to go along with the games! Your games always had great music (Spy Fox & Pajama Sam especially) and I'd love to be able to buy and listen to the music in this quality!
You've made a college student's weekend...listening to this soundtrack brings back so many great memories of playing this game! I'm curious to know how the quality is so good, because it sounds amazing! I would definitely love to hear other soundtracks like the Pajama Sam series remastered this way! Spy Fox and Pajama Sam had surprisingly good music, sad they're gone.

DUDE this is great! Imagine a new Spy Fox game, so many people would have their old memories brought back! Music and voice acting was exceptionally good there!

The only way Spy Fox makes a comeback is thru a devoted team of devs (provided they get Humongous and the original creators of Spy Fox's blessing) and done via crowd funding on either indiegogo or kickstarter
Incredible! And just in time, as I started introducing my friend to all of the Humongous soundtracks just this week. Talk about timing! This is almost life-changing, considering I literally listen to at least one HE soundtrack a day while I'm doing work.
Hinting at a new Spy Fox game ? I would go crazy! Awesome upload, such great music.

Specify a source or two, or I'll think you made it all up. I am from Sweden and the only Humongous game we got here was Freddi Fish, nothing else.

Kirbychugirl98 I was expecting "links" and specific proof to upcoming, NEW Humongous games. A #6 for me would be something like your ones, but also seeing other games *besides* Freddi Fish in Sweden... As for the voicing and artwork, I'm sure they only need to re-scan them if they still have the drawings as well as the original recordings of dialogue before they compressed 'em, but I have to be honest about Putt and Pajama Sam: they cannot still be at child age forever and thus they may have to go darker, or even feature descendants of those mascots for their respective franchises.
I think the 11 kHz was the result of not wanting to require going for high-quality speech on CD-ROM, so the team went ahead and did just that so kiddies could play Putt-Putt and hear actual in-game voices unlike how Lucasfilm Games' games were. First they only spoke in text, then when CDs became a thing and with Maniac Manaion 2: Day of the Tentacle and Indiana Jones: the Fate of Atlantis, they recorded dialogue and gave no heed to the fact they still used VGA graphics... Because, Freddi Fish just went right for SVGA graphics and out went MIDI playback instead of at least being like Virgin Interactive when that company's Disney games were put for PC, that is music with built-in Amiga quality instruments to play.

Where did you find this? Besides, I bet those Humongous folks were too busy working on the games rather than first putting in possible 22 Khz audio support for the SCUMM engine at the time. Curse of Monkey Island had that when Spy Fox was made let alone Backyard Baseball.
Well, it was not until about Fall 2001 when Humongous finally added 22 KHz audio support to the SCUMM engine, courtesy of the Miles Sound System. One of the first Humongous titles to use the new Miles system was "Pajama Sam: Games to Play on Any Day."

Okay the song at 10:06 could TOTALLY go in a James Bond movie and no one would even notice. The music for this game is amazingly well-themed, and Tom McGurk really knows the Bond style of music really well. It's as if he watched a bunch of Bond movies before making the music, and he nailed it.
