A glaring omission
Not a huge fan of horror movies myself but I enjoy watching every single one of your reviews. So I'm glad you're doing other movies once in a while. Little sad tho it wasn't the summer of Kurt Russell. Nic Cage has some good films you probably won't review. But finger's crossed.
Cage accepts any role he's given, so it's a big mix of good and bad stuff.

The movie had a good build up and I loved how Nicolas Cage was playing an anti hero who got a bittersweet ending. However, the movie went downhill when Gary Sinease was revealed to be mastermind. The motive was even more underwhelming and forgettable.
My friend's statement after watching this movie (which followed not too long after Ransom):"
"If you're in a movie and you see Gary Sinise, you should kill him. He's the bad guy."
I thought the Sinise turn here was predictable, but mostly because this "trusted friend is the bad guy" twist was so common in the 1990s and there wasn't any other suspect. Sinise has always been great.

Ghost Rider 2 is the better as it's far more off the wall and Nic Cage is clearly having hell of a time in the role

Came to the Willy's Wonderland review surprised about the announcement of THE SUMMER OF NICHOLAS CAGE, didn't expect to see Decker Shado cover the second Brian De Palma film on this channel. I do have suggestions for the next one, that include the Ghost Rider films, Knowing, Wild at Heart, Adaptation, Raising Arizona, The Rock, Con Air, and the National Treasure films. They're great suggestions for this special, and we won't care if it extends past summer because TH-cam is being a POS to you, we'll be waiting.

It is lesser known but it's awesome.
Nicolas Cage plays a dad who comes back from hell to save his granddaughter from an occult leader who murdered his daughter while being chased by a death God calling himself the accountant.
Also I'm so glad you did Willie's wonderland!! Loved that movie!
I would amend that description to "cage plays an abusive dad who comes back from hell," as without the "abusive," part it just sounds unfair

So this movie is about a company making a product and trying to get paid for the finished product by releasing the product with bugs before it is finished. So taleworlds, bathesda, rockstar, etc, etc, etc saw this and were like yes perfect business model
Will Smith playing that role would of been cool. It would of actually been more shocking considering most of his roles are good guys and I would of believed he really was distracted by a sexy woman. But with this actor, he was obviously the bad guy.

You should try a ' The Summer of Killer Cars' were you basically review movies that focuses around a possessed car like Christine or a serial killer who mostly uses a car like Wheels of Terror.
You can watch the original, big-budget ending with its ILM tidal wave in the ‘De Palma’ interview documentary.

Decker, don't use the green screen if it alters your performance. We love the couch and wall.
Part of the problem with it is also how the background looks better than Decker, it's very distracting how blurry he is in front of such a sharp background.
Fun fact me and my kids have watched the summer of Freddy vs Jason at least 30 times...no joke lol. FUCK Jason goes to hell its the worst.

My favorit NC movie. Its not as much over the top as face off or con air. And its thriller with action and comedy. And NC have wide array of films

its a newer movie but i'd love to see/hear decker's opinion and thoughts on "raised by wolves"(2020) .. a short synopsis. would be children being raised by androids for various reasons. directed by ridley scott . saying to much more would spoil a bit. but while it wasnt a masterpiece it had some interesting ideas, along with having action but mostly focusing on character interaction and was filmed decently well.
