    Genius using the squeeze butter!!

      Thank you very much for watching. The squeeze butter adds moisture and helps the brown sugar stick better. You should give it a try.

      Thank you so very much, I appreciate your comment. The one thing I try to show on my channel is that anyone can do this, cooking is not hard. Plus if everything doesn't go as planned it's still alright. I hope that you have a blessed day.

      Thank you very much for watching and commenting. Even though I had to wait until the next day to eat some it was well worth the wait.

    No better way to start my day than with a Dan’s Outdoor Cooking video! My favorite part was when you slathered it with mustard at the beginning. I was not expecting that! Keep up the good cooks!

      Thank you very much Austin, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I promise that the end product has no mustard taste. I hope that you have been doing well and enjoying your college experience.

    watched to the end. Looked delicious. Did you drain the juice or mix it all together? Thanks.

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mixed it all together, it makes it so juicy and no need for sauce. Thank you very much for watching and commenting, your support is greatly appreciated.

      I've not had any problems with it since I started packing the pellets in the hopper and don't decrease the temperature too rapidly.

    I always watch to the end !!!! Looks great ..lot of tending though. May have to try it some time.. always seemed too labor intensive to me.. But then, most good things are .

      Chuck it's actually not very hard at all, I was doing work on the boat while it was cooking only checking on it once an hour. I hope that all is well with you and your family my friend, glad you enjoyed the video.

    I'm trying to do an overnight cook on a pork butt, can this table top last over night at 200° with the pellet container full?

  • @IndianaPlinker
    @IndianaPlinker 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That looks amazing Dan. I thought at the beginning of video that it might take you awhile to get it done at 225. But the only thing that matters is that it got done and was tasty.

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so very much for watching and commenting. Yes it definitely took a long time to get done but was well worth the wait. I've found that on the pellet grill letting it ride longer at a lower temperature gives it a better smoke taste.

    Great looking Pulled Pork Dan! What is Squeezy Butter? We certainly do not get that in the UK.

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a shame if you can't find squeeze butter in the UK, it's also my go to for ribs. Thank you very much for watching, your support is greatly appreciated.

    Squeeze butter? That's a new one to me.

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you very much for watching and commenting. I find that the squeeze butter helps the brown sugar stick better and helps with moisture. As it cooks in the foil pan it almost makes a bbq sauce, the flavor is amazing.

    That looks great Dan. I wrote down your rub recipe, and I'm going to make some, sounds good. I would also like to get the recipe for your baked beans. Those beans will be good with that pork butt in it .Thanks and take care.

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you very much for watching Kenny. My baked beans are very simple as most of my cooks are. I start out with 2lbs of Great Northern Beans and 2lbs of Navy Beans, I now use the beans in a jar instead of sorting and soaking like I used to. 1lb of thick maple bacon, 1lb of my pulled pork, 6 large jalapenos, 1lb of brown sugar, 2 large onions, 16oz ketchup, 16oz mustard, 16oz Sweet Baby Ray's Chipotle BBQ sauce. I put it on my offset smoker until it has thickened up and the beans are soft but still have texture, about 5 hours at 250-325. Then I check for taste and season accordingly and add anything if needed. If you try this recipe please let me know how you like it or what variations you made to it.

    Hey Dan the smoker you are using do you get a fan noise when your smoking. Its a up and down wining noise when the blower fan is cycling?

    • @Dansoutdoorcooking
      @Dansoutdoorcooking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On mine, it's not too bad, I've heard other people complain about it being noisy and making odd sounds. Thank you very much for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed my video.
