I think it's a tad unfair to get zero points if you got the song perfectly right but forgot the artist. If half points are not working well, maybe the best solution would be giving 2 points if you got both song and artist, 1 point if you only got one and zero if you didn't get any.
The end result is still the same then. 1 vs 0 and then 2 vs 1. Only difference is getting it fully right is now twice as good as getting it fully wrong

You should have done 1 point for the name of the singer/band and 1 point for the name of the song. I got most of the artists right, just had trouble remembering the song title. I love this. Mostly songs I grew up with.
For some reason, I thought Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers was Santeria by Sublime, so I had to look it up and apparently the intros sounded very similar to me, at least from memory. For anyone wondering, no they aren't too similar but my brain tried to convince me that they did.
