I was a plant based eater for years and keep getting more unhealthy and weak i would catch colds all the time. 4 years ago after a health scare i switched to an animal based foods ketogenic diet. Now after 4 years on the animal based foods very low carb diet im healthy, strong have my muscle back and i have not been sick in 4 years ! I can now run ten 100 yard sprints twice a week and feel fantastic, something i couldn't do 5 years ago. My triglycerides are way down to 53, HDL up to 70, vLDL down to 3, healthy LDL up to 185, and higher healthy LDL is now linked to lower all causes mortality death risk. All my inflammation markers down also
Sugar and simple carb consumption are WAY UP too! Not all seed pils are ‘bad’ for you. Cold pressed, expeller processed seed oils like Sesame and Sunflower Oils aren’t unhealthy.
And cirrhosis and liver disease is up around 200% in the last twenty years, according to the CDC, even though alcohol consumption is flat. You know what they blame the increase on? Yep, alcohol consumption.

I heard about the seed oil issues a few years ago. I really didnt use a lot of it at home, but if you go out and eat fried foods you will get it. I heard that when the seed oils are cooked at high temperature, they release dangerous inflammatory compounds that can damage the body. I try not to eat much processed food either. Processing takes heat so its already rancid but they deodorize it to keep the smell down.

Thats what Dr.Chris Knobbe has been saying for years. He argues its not even processed carbs but seed oils that are major reasons for increased metabolic syndrome epidemic.
My diet is simple. No seed oils, prioritize red meat and eggs, enjoy fruit, honey, sourdough, potatoes, white rice. No processed junk at all. A little homemade dessert every now and again.
some of it is. I think you have to look out for the quality check certificate on the olive oil bottle, However yes it puts me off buying oilve oil so now I just get good quality butter instead. Sometimes I keep my leftover bacon or beef fat too.
Buy only the one that comes from one country only and it's packaged in dark green glass bottle and says Extra virgin olive oil press cold . Let's say from Spain or Italy they are more expensive but you will be sure to get only 100% olive oil and not any mix in it .
You guys know there is an enormous amount of fakes out there, right? The deeper you look into it the darker it looks. And just to be clear I am talking about fake olive oils. If you are not getting it from your own family's farm, it is very hard to be 100% sure there have been no tampering. It is a huge industry.
True.. apparently, even the "organic products from Italy/Spain/Greece in green bottles" is composed of seed oils colored and conditioned to look/smell/taste like olive oil by teams of organic chemists... Lots of documentaries on TH-cam reveal this trend. There is really no appropriate "government oversight" that is preventing this growing problem. I'm starting to realize that perhaps the only way to be sure to avoid toxins of the food industry is to farm/grow ones own food supply with purified water in toxin-free medium...
I’ve been trying to eat red meat a few times a week, and cook with butter, olive, coconut, and avocado oil. I also prefer whole milk and whole milk yogurt over low-fat or fat free. I do eat poultry and seafood as well. I haven’t given up all ultra-processed foods that I love, as right now, I’m trying to find a better balance between healthy and unhealthy and not give anything up 100%. For me, I think finding a better balance is key, rather than restricting too much. Unhealthy foods can still be had in moderation. Also everything, good and bad, can be harmful if over-consumed. Unfortunately my mom did buy into the low fat fad so we grew up having margarine, cooking with seed oils, etc. Our school lunches were usually a sandwich on white bread, Little Debbies snack, and Hi-C or Capris Sun. As someone who has anxiety and depression, and is looking into testing for ADHD, I will say that all of these have been around for many years. We’re hearing more about them now because for so long they have caused a lot of stigma and we’re still learning about the brain, as with everything else. ADHD is a neurodevelopment disorder and people who have ADHD have a different wiring of their brains. There is still a lot of stigma around mental illness and mental health. I’ve always been shy and likely developed anxiety as a kid, in the early 1990s. I have Amblyopia and Strabismus in my left eye as well so my brain had to rewire itself to mostly suppress input from my left eye when both eyes are open (it only will take peripheral from my left, with most input coming from my right). I had gone cross-eyed as a baby. I’ve only started learning about ADHD-mostly inattentive type-as I feel like many of the traits and symptoms fit me now, and how I was as a kid. There does seem to be a possible link between people who have an eye condition, such as Amblyopia, and having a condition such as ADHD and autism. Also, girls and women usually present differently than boys and men so it is harder to diagnose girls and women. There are so many factors as to why conditions like ADHD and autism, as well as mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, are seeming like they are becoming more prevalent. Part of it is knowing more now than we knew years ago, about them, so more people are able to finally be diagnosed. They didn’t suddenly develop ADHD or autism as adults; they’ve always had it but flew under the radar for so many years.
I am a woman with autism and adhd and I also have strabismus just like you..... I didn't know that eye conditions were linked to ADHD and autism!!! Makes a lot of sense and very true, in our case... I am sure you must be one of us as well...
I am from Russia. And here are my observations. I do remember when I came back from US back to Moscow, it was 2009 year. I intentionally observed and wanted to spot overweight ladies in Moscow, just to see whether we have them or not. But I couldn't find them. So, I was so glad for our country back then. But now in 2024, I would say that at least 30% of people in general are overweight, both males and females. Probably 80% of folks have at least an excess of visceral fat. What have changed just within 15 years in Russia? Refined sugar and refined wheat were ubiquitous for at least 50 years in Russia, but people were still in shape. What changed? Only refined vegie oils, were introduced to Russia recently, like 25 year ago. Imo, the refined vegie oils are the major culprit.
Talk about the process of producing seed oils. I suspect it’s how these seeds are put through hi temperatures and probably passed thru other hi heat processes. Seeds by themselves are not bad. This is an area you can research more on. What manufacturing processes are watering down the seed into an oil that’s toxic for consumption?
Do you know what hexanes are? Do you know that it is used to extract most of these seed oils? Did you know hexane is made from crude oils? This is what I suspect on seed oils: It poisonous and is in large part responsible for obesity and arterial sclerosis and therefore:heart attacks and mental illness. When humans tried to replace animal fat with these toxic oils the brain and nervous system suffers. We are now past the point salvation.
You should invite Professor Sarah Berry or one of many other experts who say there's nothing wrong with seed oils to your show. That would make for an interesting video.
Watching from San Diego County. I have been struggling for some time to convince my family to at least go keto but they are vegetarian and vegan and so I’m not making a lot of progress. I’m hoping to be a good example but one of them has already said just because it works for you doesn’t mean it will work for me. Might send this video to them.
I cook all my food in either saved bacon grease, avocado oil, ghee, good old butter, or occasionally coconut oil. I stopped seed oils after learning the havoc they cause, and especially after watching how they are made 🤢
Never saw a doctor in Europe recommending seed oils to people with high ldl. It’s nuts if happening in the USA. They recommend less fat. I think more and more that the problem is not necessarily what you eat but that you OVEREAT and that you don’t exercise enough. More vegetables and fruits will always be better than a thing you get out of a plastic container.
Before everyone goes overboard. More than the vegetable and seed oils. Is it not possible that the actual issue is the products these oils are ingredients in and not the oil itself?
All you need to know if they are saying don't eat red meat and eggs..... Then the only thing you should eat is red meat and eggs

A lot of people have needs different to you, esp older folks
Recently found out buffalo wild wings uses beef tallow to fry their wings. It's in their allergy warnings.
Too funny! 😂
Great video. Thank you for the time you put in making this.
His comments toward the end of the video, so on-point. When I see what people feed to small children, I have to bite my tongue not to say what I'm really thinking. It's sickening, nothing but sugar and crap.
When all you eat is meat , salt , water . Bills are lower too.
Imagine what you spend on junk food geared toward carnivore !
Simple , healthy , life
Glad to see more and more sharing of this valuable information.
Watching from south eastern Montana 👍👍👍
Very informative! Thanks for covering this!
We are living in a "dark ages" of sorts regarding the very intimate subject of what we put into our bodies. What we eat can be such a "personal" subject. We have to open the discourse. Like this show does. And it's time for a wider conversation across society. And deeper conversations. On good word, it is on the horizon... Stay tuned

I am from odisa ,India.
I appreciate your videos Mike, very informative and well thought out, thank you

Hello from upstate NY. Appreciate the information!
Love ur stuff Mike!!
And cirrhosis and liver disease is up around 200% in the last twenty years, according to the CDC, even though alcohol consumption is flat. You know what they blame the increase on? Yep, alcohol consumption.
I try to avoid all seed oils. If its on the label, I dont buy it. We rarely eat out and I always make my own salad dressing either from homemade salsa from our garden or olive oil. My typical breakfast is 5 eggs and 2 sausage patties. My cholesterol, A1C, and triglycerides all test perfect. Ive also been working out for 29 years so that helps as well.
Great info!
In unvaxxed youngsters there are zero cases of ADHD. There is a study showing this but the watchers of utuub remove it when I try to post.
The computer removes all links. You have to put the title in quotes and tell people to copy paste it into the U tube search bar.
Had a friend the other day ask me to try this new KitKat flavor and reluctantly I said ok. It was good but then I looked at the ingredients and saw that the first 4ish ingredients were different vegetable seed oils. I was like whaaat.
Excellent Mike thank you!
Eruric acid (perhaps it has another spelling) is the chemical that is found in canola oil and is cardiotoxic.
Uric acid
Thanks from SoCal. I appreciate all your research and knowledge on health and nutrition. It is so hard to buy foods that don’t have processed seed oils in it. We really need to eat Whole Foods! I try to, but do buy some processed foods and look at the ingredients, it is hard to find foods made with healthy oisl.
Keep up the great work😢
Eat eggs and meat and butter you'll be fine without all those packaged meals or food
In 1800, bread referred to food that's different than most of stuff sold by that name today.
In 1800, cattle, pigs and poultry was raised on pasture and not in factories (CAFO's).
In 1800, the oceans weren't contaminated with POP's, PCB's, plastics and heavy metals.
In 1800, people ate diets that had sustained their communities for centuries.
Thanks for the good work
Mike nails it again
Driving in the country of Australia with my daughter, taking her to the hospital with a broken knee cap ..
I happened to point out how much canola was growing in the fields..but she only said pretty..
She later that day went to the bone doctor and they said you need the get your immune system better to help with her Chrons decease working better to heal after the operation She laugh and said may be I should try DADS Carnivore diet...
I only use olive oil. Other than that I use dripping like my grandmother did. Also butter is great to cook with. Australian in his late 60s here.
thank you
Missed the live show Mike but religiously never miss a podcast, I share it around , I enjoy the content.
Just had a beautiful mid morning breakfast on the deck on a subtropical winters morning , with seabreeze blowing in ..
Definitely cut seed oils and processed foods , feel better than ever
About to head to the beach but first , the show before I go.🇦🇺🦘🌴
❤💪🏋️♂️🙏✝ GOD BE WITH US IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST EVIL HEALTH DAMAGING SEED OILS ✝🙏⛪️🧗♂️🕊
Excellent!
Great reminder 👍. Apparently, most of the olive oil in mainstream consumption is also infiltrated by seed oils.. and rocket fuel byproducts.
some of it is. I think you have to look out for the quality check certificate on the olive oil bottle, However yes it puts me off buying oilve oil so now I just get good quality butter instead. Sometimes I keep my leftover bacon or beef fat too.
Look for Olive Oil with seal destination origin Italy.
Taste testing also works. Similar principles to wine tasting.
Thank you Mike❤️☮️
WOW, this is why I will be voting for RFK in CA.
Harm from seed oils should not be blindly attributed to seeds. Industrial processing technology is what makes these oils harmful.
Cotton seeds are poisonous if you eat them. So is most seeds.
You should invite Professor Sarah Berry or one of many other experts who say there's nothing wrong with seed oils to your show. That would make for an interesting video.
Good one!😊
Thankyou from Oz
I avoid them like the plague. Trader Joe’s has a couple of salads that I love. I cut open the dressing, pour out the canola oil and add olive oil.
It’s very telling to see how few salad dressings have anything other than soybean or canola oil. In Canada.
Same here, in Switzerland.🇨🇭
I cook all my food in either saved bacon grease, avocado oil, ghee, good old butter, or occasionally coconut oil. I stopped seed oils after learning the havoc they cause, and especially after watching how they are made 🤢
My theory is that high carb + fructose fuels growth and oldening of cells. Seed oils, like other chemicals and imbalances are the seed of illnesses.
It hasn’t cured it but hemp seed oil has seriously helped my psoriasis condition
An excellent use for seed oils is to apply them topically. 😅
@@1timbarrett I’ve done it both ingesting and topical
