Inspired from the prologue of the 2015 special.
Thomas and Bertie have a history of racing, but it causes trouble due to them going at high speed and not knowing the dangers of it all. They soon found that out.
All Thomas rights belong to HIT Entertainment/Mattel
This really does feel like a violent end to Thomas and Bertie's constant racing each other. And I love how they finally learned the consequences of how racing can lead to accidents. Also, it's nice to see George appear in it too.
Once again, this was a very solid episode and I do like how the moral goes "Old Habits Are Hard to Break". :D
Oh dear, Thomas and Bertie's racing got them into trouble. Well it was bound to happen, glad no one was hurt. I'm guessing there will be another part to this soon, am I right?
I almost thought someone would've died in this one.
Awesome video! This has to be my favourite story yet. I can't wait for the next one :)
I bet, since Dennis now runs the Ffarquhar branch, that he'll get up to his lazy tricks again. Old habits DO die hard, as they say...
Dennis is not lazy anymore in my series, watch 'Hard Work Bring Success'
I wonder why I love the song that plays when they race so much
Another thing I'd like to mention is, it also talks about the moral that "Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it will never happen", like Thomas and Bertie learned.
Nice story to prepare for the upcoming special, The Great Race. :)
Oh Thomas, he'll never learn well he, whenever it comes to the rules, he's always got a nerve in defying them!
I think the Fat Controller made a huge mistake putting Dennis on Thomas's branchline
Agreed
I thought this episode was a good one. Although I was worried when I saw Thomas and Bertie being careless, it did show what can happen when you do go too fast. You can have a serious accident and you can really hurt yourself if you don't look at what you are doing.
That's true

I have a feeling it may take awhile for passengers to trust Thomas and Bertie before they ride on them again.
These stories have potential but the script needs to be edited A LOT more. The grammar kept fluctuating between tenses (i.e. the story being told at the current time or in the past, as the narrator keeps switching between the two), and the crashes were quite unlikely to happen on a railway; there are obviously going to be some injured passengers after them. Just saying.
While yes in reality there are going to be some injured passengers, but I was trying not to be too dark, even though I had done it in the past :P
+chris robson What on earth is your problem?!
+Ffarquhar Engine Be fair, NWR1991 may have missed a few things out, as we all do sometimes. Anyway, I've watched this series for years. I reckon it's just his narrative style, and that he's breaking the Fourth Wall. We can't be expected to get things right all the time (may be a good story idea concerning Fergus, if anyone can make a model of him)!
+NWR1991 By the way saw Jim at 7:54, :D
+Ffarquhar Engine there was a bus crash and no one was hurt in reality: www.waow.com/story/31605327/2016/03/30/no-one-hurt-in-stevens-point-bus-crash
Excellent. I'd say your fan made episodes are as good, or at times better thent eh ones for the show.
+Brian Runyon My feelings exactly!
I see Jim
Fantastic!
Which story was referenced when Bertie had a near collision with Oliver near Harwick?
Patrick Wilson Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure
its a very nicely riten episode mite I say that berty being told off and crashing into the house and thomas running wild is new and freash
+NWR1991 I don't mean to protest you but Thomas and Bertie were never told off from racing. The fat controller and Bertie Manager should never have been so server with them. They were having fun and they never had a single accident
That's not the point! Their so called fun, by racing at high speeds was very dangerous, and it could've gotten a few people could've been dead, not to mention they exceed the speed limits, and property damage too! Tell me, is that fun? NO! The Fat Controller and the bus manager have a reason to be severe!
Have you even seen the episode? Thomas and Bertie didn't know the consequences of how dangerous going at high speeds can be. The moral is this: 'Just because it didn't happen before doesn't mean it will never happen'. Plus racing on road and rail can very dangerous in reality.
+NWR1991 Good point. I thought buses like Bertie were no designed for speed. Nor was Thomas as his class wasn't designed for speed either
+NWR1991 You make a good point.
Excellent!
Great work! Very nice twist on the Thomas/Bertie rivalry. It played out very well. Will we get an episode about Dennis on Thomas' line? That'd be very interesting to see! Also, on an unrelated note, would you like to voice act Oliver and the Fat Controller for my upcoming series? There is a trailer on my channel, if you're interested. :)
Yes there will be an upcoming episode about that
NWR1991 Awesome! I've always liked Dennis.
+NWR1991 So would you be interested in voice acting? If not, I'd need to know so I can continue looking. :)
+MainLineEngine112 thanks for the offer but no thanks
NWR1991 Okay, I understand. Thanks for the consideration. :)
+NWR1991 Should you ask Tuggster if you could use his music in your future episodes?
I already had gotten his approval sine last year, in fact he gave me some of his music as an offer.
+NWR1991 Great! :)
+Mr Cool Blue No. because he's had permission for a very long time.
AceofTrains0706 R&G Is that true? Name one of his videos
Look for them yourself. You're bound to find something.
