Two things to say:One: A great start of the season. Keep up the good work. Two: I had no idea about the death of Mr. Perkins' actor until this video. Thanks for letting me know. Rest In Peace, Ben Forster.
I like the tribute to the now late Forster. And as for this episode, nice work on the story aspect. I like the end bit especially, reminds me of what Awdry said in how on market days people rode in Percy's brakevan's from Dryaw's goods station to Toryeck and beyond.
Not quite a story, but something he wrote in the TIoS when discussing the harbor line and the original station at Dryaw after it became a goods station.
Welcome back NWR1991! I loved the music used in the new intro! I liked the concept behind this story, I never would have thought that Percy would have his own brake van, Queen Mary is an interesting rolling stock! And that was a nice moment you added at the end for Ben Forster a.k.a Mr. Perkins. Well done mate!
Good start, Good start. I'm not going to lie though, for a second when you said Sir Topham was buying a new brakevan, I thought it was going to be Bradford. It was a very clever idea to have Queen Mary attached to a passenger train. At first I thought you were going to take the "Thomas and Gordon" route with her not liking the high speeds, but instead her and the coaches had a very well done conversation. Season 6 is looking good. And the Ben Forster tribute was a nice addition.
A good way to start up your 6th season. Good to see Queen Mary (at least your adaptation of her) learn her lesson and come to terms that she's a brake van, designed and built as one. It is kind of sad that the actor who played Mr. Perkins passed away. I enjoyed some of his segments. Speaking of brake vans, maybe for a future episode, you could have Bradford finally learn his lesson that no matter how important rules or regulations maybe, they do not supersede common sense. What do you think of that?
That is a very good starter episode for the new season. Percy having a new break van and then having to deal with her complaining. Queen Mary sounds like an odd name for a break van. Is she based on a real life break van? Plus the voice you gave her reminds me of Hyacinth Bucket from 'Keeping Up Appearances' :). I'm pleased Emily got appearances, but surprised that she didn't speak :(.
CraneProductions27 Yes the name Queen Mary is named after the actual term of her basis like Toad being named after the basis which is the GWR Toad brake van
I know that have stressed this several times before, but you REALLY need a second set of eyes proofreading your script. The verb tenses are all over the place, there are several awkward phrases throughout the story, which all make following the story all the more difficult.
CJthetrainfan I moved him because of Stanley. Since he's considered as a strong engine he can carry trucks all on his own and there was no point for Percy to be on the Ffarquhar line since Stanley was always considered on the goods work because of his strength and if Percy is still kept on the Ffarquhar line then Stanley wouldn't have much focus. You have the right to your opinion though and that's fine.
Saying someone can't critisize because they don't make their own stories isn't exactly a good argument, also "gives the Kirk Ronan better life." makes no sense. Yes he is indeed more experienced, but he now has no-one but a random brakevan that nobody cares about to work off of and have a dynamic with. Removing Percy from the Ffarquhar branch messes up both his, as well at Thomas & Toby's character dynamic.
I wasn't speaking for all of you, I was speaking for myself. And yes Thomas & Duck have branch lines but that's because they have a dynamic, Thomas, Percy & Toby have a character dynamic to work off of, as do Duck, Donald, Douglas & Oliver. Plus the Arsedale engines, also not all Saddletanks were built to work at harbours that's just incorrect. Moving Percy disrupts his character dynamic.
CJthetrainfan Just to be clear, I'm also work on a dynamic with Emily and James who are also working with Percy. Percy and James work well together (e.g - Percy, James and the Fruitful Day) and Emily with her big sister type personality
"my driver listens to a band called Queen" lol Percy you innocent child
“You sweet summer child”
I love the band queen!!
I love Henry's great helpfulness in this story.
That subtle Queen joke was good 😂

What story was Awdry referring to? I don't have any memory on that.
Not quite a story, but something he wrote in the TIoS when discussing the harbor line and the original station at Dryaw after it became a goods station.
I just loved that queen refrence i laughed when he said stuff about them me as a queen fan its good

Nice one. Queen Mary is making me think that something like that'll happen in Hasty Hannah.
Very well done, I must say. Great to see the series continuing with a season 6!
4:23 Seems your mouse wanted to be part of the story too....
SLM811 TBH I didn't notice that until now :P
Let the mouse have the popularity
Great episode! Loved your voice for 'Queenie', brilliant! ;)
i've never seen that model of brakevan like Q.M. She looks bigger than Toad!
Nicely done! There's always room for a story about those "Queen Mary Brake Vans". I once imagined one myself =3
I love the use of the BBC version of the theme!

Rest in Peace Mr. Perkins.
I really enjoyed the orchestra intro!
I think that Queen Mary would go nicely with King George.

It would be nice if The Queen had a face similar to Daisy's.

4:03 What type are those coaches that Henry's pulling?
Dedicate another episode to John Hurt.

When You First Downloaded Henry, Was His Face Messed Up? (it was for me, Edwards face too ) and if it was can you tell me how i can fix it?
OMG OMG HE IS DEAD?!?!
What's the theme at6:01
Love the episode, i just hate the new Percy face tho :l
I like it
I know that have stressed this several times before, but you REALLY need a second set of eyes proofreading your script. The verb tenses are all over the place, there are several awkward phrases throughout the story, which all make following the story all the more difficult.
NWR1991 why are you now using Trainz 2009
Trainboy 5000 I had used Trainz 12 but it got messed up when I was reinstalling it.
One question how did it get messed up
Have you been copying my OC?
JamesFan1991 No, just a coincidence
Didn't think you would and I would be easy to for two people to come up with Queen Mary the Brake-van.
um in 2015 terrier55stepney made one
No he didn't
Look I know you wanted to do something different, but moving Percy was a bad move, it messes up the entire Ffarquhar dynamic and it just doesn't work.
CJthetrainfan I moved him because of Stanley. You have the right to your opinion though and that's fine.
NWR1991 But then why not have Stanley on the Kirk Ronan Line? I'm not complaining, just curious.
Saying someone can't critisize because they don't make their own stories
isn't exactly a good argument, also "gives the Kirk Ronan better life."
