Vintage Gal I know exactly how you feel. Off and on for 15-20 years I tried to knit and it never clicked. Then finally in January I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to give up and I finally got it. It takes so much practice to get your hands used to it too. I jumped right in to making a sweater for my husband. It took me four months and I finished just in time for his birthday last week lol. It’s quite addictive I think because now it’s like I am ( and you are) unstoppable. ❤️❤️We don’t have to limit ourselves. We like some we can make it now. My next goal is sewing a pattern!! I’m so very happy for you and can’t wait to see what you stitch up xo
Happy new year cate , hope you had a lovely Christmas . I just had to let you know Iv just bought two vintage wardrobes a double and the cutest smallest single one , they belonged to the gentlemans nan who I bought them off and she is 99 , he thinks she bought them in 1943 , when his mother was one years old , as well as loving the wardrobes I just adore things that have a story behind them , Iv got quite abit of work to do to clean them up and polish them as they have been in a storage room but I'm so looking forward to doing them and hopefully use the tiny one to store some of my crochet etc , they still have the original rails and hooks still on them lol , I get them delivered on Tuesday, hope to see you soon with some news of your projects 😊Amanda xx

What a lucky friend you have I'm sure she will adore her crocheted jumper yours is gorgeous . Aw, thank you Amanda! Yes, I'm just doing the ribbing on the first sleeve and boy is it slow! I would've had it done now if it was crocheting. Despite the fact that it's slower, I'm definitely enjoying it and I can't wait to move on to vintage patterns. xx
