Here’s an interesting stat for the Detroit Lions specifically Jared Goff . Did you know last season that Jared Goff lead the league in 4th Quarter passing yards with 1284 . Do you know he lead the league in 4th quarter completions with 117 did you know he had a 4th quarter passer rating of 102.0 with a 72.2 completion percentage in the 4th Quarter . So when the games is on the line he statistically plays his best football

Josh Allen throws 18 interceptions to Jared’s 12 and the media is like omg Josh Allen’s such a great Quarterback. He’s so talented . Yet he chokes in the playoffs

until a player has gone through their second year, after opposing coordinators have tape to gameplan against them, they haven’t cemented themselves as anything.
Jordan Love will have to prove that he can play through being specifically schemed against. the NFL QB graveyard is absolutely stuffed to the gills with QBs that were great until they couldn’t beat defenses that were designed for them. 1 year wonder is a very very common theme for QBs. way more common than “15 year franchise QB.”

I love how when Goff played a great half of a season, they were saying things like "The Lions will do well if Goff can keep it together!" Jordan Love has a good half a season and he is automatically the best in the NFC and tops in the NFL. Some searious bias going on there.

I’ll fully admit if I’m wrong but I’m still not buying Jordan Love being such an elite QB until he does it for more than half a season. Even then, he was the reason they lost that playoff game.
Idk that backing up fade away throw he got down last year is legit. Dude is gonna be annoying for the next decade plus. Idk if he's farve or arod but he's definitely damn good. As a lions fan I was sick watching him figure it out. That fader is gonna cause a lot of nightmares around these parts. Still ain't gonna win the division though

I feel like they want to give it to him so bad because they want to say that "Green Bay breeds star quarterbacks".. they want that as their motto soooo bad!..😭 and like for what??? 🤷😂 like what does that give you is this supposed to add to your legacy of an organization or something?... I feel like if it was any other backup quarterback from another team that they wouldn't be trying to press this narrative so bad.. I'm just not buying into Jordan love being as good as everyone says until he does it over of course of a full season and now teams have video 😊on him and they'll be ready for him he's not going to sneak up on anyone.. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he started out slow due to the fact that every other team has adjusted to him.

She is a skeptic of Jared Goff and always has been probably always will be. Kimes is more of a fan of dual-threat quarterbacks like Jordan love and Caleb Williams who are more flashy and dynamic she probably thinks that they'll be better... IMO Goff will be the Best Quarterback in the Division for the next few years

What a crap take on Goff from her and from you, Baby Huey. Goff's numbers since the 2nd half of 2022 have been near Mahomes level. Jordan love had a hot stretch at the end of a season. How low a sample size are we doing? Can we say someone is superior based on a 3 game sample now? 2 games? How about 1? Because Jordan Love will never have the single game that Goff had vs Mahomes on the Ram. I guess that makes Goff the best QB in the North! Such a stupid argument. The Love love is based on potential, not a habitual standard of reality.

Every body knows Goof can throw only short to medium passes to the middle of the field thats why love is better than him younger more mobile and can sling it deep no problem goff had 2 deep passes all last year 1 against Dallas 2 Tampa.

Wrong. 56 attempts over 20+ yards with a 93.2 PFF passing grade. On throws 20+, Love's passing grade was 85.8.
@LDVTennis it's hilarious people still try and argue about him throwing deep. Especially when he's constantly one of the better deep ball passers by the numbers. He can throw it just as deep as basically every QB in the league.
Goff’s passing velocity was measured at the NFL combine at 58mph. That’s in the highest tier. Only a handful of guys have topped that since. Mahomes threw 55mph for example. Lamar Jackson was in the 40’s! Goff not having a strong arm is a myth.
