Another cool thing about the time true archer called Gil weak. Normally Gil would have lost control if someone did that. But in his case even when Gil was super pissed off he didn't let his guard down because he KNEW he couldn't afford to against him. Oh and true archer later admitted he called Gil weak just to piss him off so gil would make mistakes because without that Herc was hard pressed to get a clear shot in.
It just shows that Gil respects powerful opponents. Absolutely, taunting is a form of strategy, still brave of Herc to do so lol.
Also goes to show that the Gil in strange fake is very different from stay night or zero

Wrong, Gilgamesh normally would not have lost his shit, rather the only reason he was so unstable during the fate/stay night routes is because his mood and personality is heavily influenced by the time where is summoned, and because the 21st century is just so tainted and greedy, his personality it warped, in Strange/Fake it would have happened as well, however the presence of Enkidu stabilizes him, which is why he is so rational, it may even stabilize him enough for him to use Na Shagba Imuru properly.
Gilgamesh can not be beat if he is serious. Gil can be beat every time because his ego, reason is every wish of gil always almost 99% fulfill .Gilgamesh is half God.Gil do not process any attraction to any worldly thing .He is bored in this world .The Holy grail war include the Holy grail belong to him & his gate of Babylon.He is Real. He is world fast Hero.He process everything.We do not know the full extend of Gate of babyloon or gil true power.Once upon a time Gil Gain immortality & he give it to Snake.
@@arkangel3610 Gil's gate of babylon is not the only scary thing about him. His legend is all about beating up and killing literal divine beasts flipping off gods. His arrogance is well earned. The whole having the originals of all noble phantasms only happened after he reached the throne of heroes. The reason gil is never serious is because he has never actually been challenged by someone as strong as enkidu. Gil opened the battle with ea against him. And that wasn't even a serious fight. In gil's and enkidu's own words that was them just sharing a greeting with each other.
For those asking, FSF original servants cannot be added to FGO until it is *finished* being written

+KeiKollections I have the answer why the Cereberus is weaken. Firstly, the Cereberus has an absurd amount of divinity. In holy grail war, it is forbidden to summon gods but godlike create are exceptions like demigods and Enkidu. You could compare the Cereberus to the Gorgon sisters that could be summon with their divinity intact but they are nerfed to some degree.

@@valdr2286 Semiramis is also a dual class servant (Assassin/ Caster) and she's in FGO as a 5* Assassin. in Fate Apocrypha she was dual classed Assassin/Caster
The second labor is the "Lemaean Hydra", so it's probably him using his Nine Lives technique with his bow (and arrows infused with Hydra poison). That's pretty scary.

I feel like if Strange/Fake were to become an anime, it would completely be a God tier anime.
Zero, Stay Night and UBW would give background information and a good example of how a proper holy grail war takes place.
Heavens feel would be the darkest route; much more serious and horror like, while also explaining the whole “alter” process and the corrupt holy grail (Salter).
Extra/Last encore would show the holy grail war in a more futuristic version and how/what it evolves into in the future.
Appcrypha would detail the whole “two factions” idea and how it would play out while also exposing us to the ruler class and their role in a grail war.
Grand order would expose us to many more classes such as the extra classes/ “grand” classes, new masters and a HUGE number of different servants from various countries and regions across the world. It would really flesh out the characters and give you an idea of just how many different heroic spirits truly exist such as napoleon, semiramis and Solomon; all of different ethnicities and powerful myths/historical influence (outside of what we regularly see; medusa, arthur, cu chulain and so on).
And last but not least, Strange/Fake would break all limits to what we’ve seen; it would be a complete slugfest of overpowered and extremely strong servants, exceeding all other Fate seasons in terms of power and “OP-ness”

Cerberus was nerfed due Herc not being his true owner. If Hades somehow manifests as a servant, then Cerberus will be in his prime.
P.S Calling Gil weak was a provoke. Later Herc tells, what he will need a lot of mana and seven day stand to have decent chance againts Gil
Actually wasn't Cerberus nerfed because Herc lost his divinity as he got corrupted by the mud + 3 command spells to force change him into the human/avenger aspect of his legend Alcides. Also i remember Assasin stating that he got a change of beating him now that he "got dragged" down to being human instead of being a demi-god (before he activated Reincarnation Pandora).
@@yarigold only reason why Herc even got Cerberus is fact, that he lost his divinity and as a result lost his "God Hand" (that was replaced by "Kings Order"). If Herc will not get corrupted he will always get "God Hand" as a NP and not the "Kings Order". Maybe its have something to do with gods authority, like Cerberus belongs to gods. Cant say for sure, but Herc being human and not a god makes him false owner of Cerberus
If you read Strange Fake he has can last MORE than that due to his master's machinations remember the original master of caster in fate? He basically got his Mana creation device once he died...

Meh, I don't how I would feel if he could match Gil. Gil has a lore reason why he's so powerful, as the "oldest" hero and king who owns the rights to all the treasures in the world. Herc, while powerful, was just a Greek demi-god hero, PLENTY of others like him, many who are just straight-up more powerful if you compare their myths.
I get that the Nasuverse does not have to reflect myths irl and that Heros are affected by how famous they are, due to their connection with Alaya, and Herc is one of the most well-known in the world due to England taking over the world, but still.

Considering the other labours, Herc would be able to summon Artemis' golden hind, a flood, a killer boar, a killer bull, a cow army, maybe dropping the sky on the opponent and he can summon a carniverous horse army. Guess which one I'm excited for.

It's a mistake, herc was able to shot this arrows from faster then sound (the first arrow he shooted at gil), to even faster than electricity (althought it's quite hard to say how fast it was)(the second arrow)
Arrows that are "only" the speed of sound would be quite weak in nasuverse, EMYIA was able to shot arrows at mach 10 or something like that (in HA)

I'm pretty sure the arrow he shot at Mach 10 wasn't just any arrow but a modified Huntring which endlessly tracks its target. His ordinary arrows should be around speed of sound. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

So... It only makes sense that Herc would be the one to be so amazing, I mean, even if Gil is the oldest hero, Heracles/Hercules is pretty much known everywhere for being the strongest thing in myth (since Greek myth is the most well known)
And to answer who might beat Gil:
Achilles stands no chanse, he is good against non Devine opponents, but when Gil can pierce through his armour and can lock Achilles down with the Chanis of Heaven .... The battle is done.

Enkidu: Enkidu has the highest chanses of being able but even so, Gil can outdo Enkidu, when they first faught they each finished every trick(in case of Gil his treasure) they had on each other, but since then Gil has taken more and more nps while Enkidu stood the same.
People would not believe me, but I think that someone such as Vlad in Romania would actually be able to do it:
He does not have divinity so he is not affected as much by the chains
Gil does not have a method of getting rid of Vlad's spear from inside
Unless EA enters the game Vlad can defend himself with spikes

Let's be real though, since he's the most powerful servant summonable, the most effective way to defeat him is to pitted him against non servants (Shiro, Dark Sakura, Counter Guardians).
Still staying loyal to my boi Gilgamesh, his ego does weaken him, though. This was pretty cool, think they'll add him to FGO or would he be too OP?

@transformersmoviesp He'll definitely be an Avenger, I think that's his main selling point for a video game. But he will have Archer like abilities like Independent action, etc.
They've already said that none of the Strange Fake servants are going to be added to the game until the story is finished (they made an exception for Enkidu probably because of the Babylonia singularity and how closely he's tied to Gilgamesh)

I'm pretty sure Edmond Dantes would defeat Gilgamesh even if he's serious, his np's is so broken and can pretty much counter anything Gilgamesh has to offer.
"Enfer Château d'If" allows him to move so fast he can basically escape time and space, it even create afterimages that has physical presence sort of like having clones. This is more than enough speed to dodge the weapons that Gil would shoot at his GoB and close in on him and use his black flames(which can attacks the soul itself therefore can kill immortals such as dead apostles) which Gil has no way of enduring.
Aside from that the count also has "Wisdom of Predicament" that can be used to call upon luck if needed and "Attende Esprer" which is a ridiculous recovery skill that can basically bring himself/ others back on track even on the brink of death with increase parameters.
Edmond is such an underrated Servant. I may be bias because he's my favorite Servant but I hope that we see more of him in storyline.

The chains of heaven, while not super affective on a human, are said to be able to move faster than any living thing, and that means they move faster than even Dante, meaning he could stop Dante in his tracks.
Cerberus is nerfed because of the lack of divine blessing from Hades.
Nine Lives really ain't that similar to Tsubame Gaeshi, one is a serious of consecutive attacks, the other is three slashes coming from three different dimensions in three different angles at the time.
The homing lasers fired with the bow is the version that is actually simultaneous, instead of consecutive.
And none of the Servants you mentioned would be able to defeat Gilgamesh, all of them would get screwed over by the Chains of Heaven. Full divinity Quetzalcoatl would win, with Null Good. Though her actual Servant version isn't that strong.
Alcides is gonna use Reincarnation Pandora on Enkidu to steal Enuma Elish to survive Ea. Either that or he's going to pump Enkidu full of Hydra Venom (because there's no way his 2nd Labour isn't the Hydra Blood Arrows) and either offer a trade, giving Gil the Golden Apples of the Hesperides which will totally be able to cure Enkidu, in exchange for Ea. And then Hippolyta will probably show up and punch Alcides really hard or something.
It's a long way off, whatever the case. We'll probably get Archer Herk (True) in FGO before then.
Or Alcides uses Reincarnation Pandora on Ea
I bet he's gonna use the Labor that involves Atlas and the Golden Apples to hold up against Enuma Elish's event. Hold up the sky to not be sundered or crushed by it, me thinks?

Gilgamesh is canonically the strongest of all Heroic Spirits, regardless of class.. Even the creator has said if Gilgamesh took every single fight seriously, he'd never lose. His noble phantasm is literally calling upon every noble phantasm that has ever or will ever exist. There's no one single servant who will ever be more powerful than him, lest it breaks canon. But as we all know, he has been defeated, and can be defeated easily. Gilgamesh's weakness is that he's a cocky bitch who see's everyone else as insects. Simply don't give him a chance to rev up to maximum strength and he's easily defeated by servants as canonically weak as Heroic Spirit Emiya, who even in the Archer class, is B tier at best.

He use the grand title so he can put the death concept afterwards he pretty much a normal servant and if you look in his chara material and whole toolkit yes he's strong but he's nowhere as broken as GoB. Something to think about. So far in the story Alcides is not proving to be overpowered as a result of his transformation. He has lost/rejected his divinity which makes his Noble phantasms lack Divinity which means he is probably weaker than Gilgamesh. I do think that Gilgamesh will lose to him but that is probably because he has an anti Divine Noble Phantasm.

Also gil already seen reincarnation pandora so he may have some counter up his sleeve (even if alkeides SOMEHOW, stole Ea alkeides wont able to use it since its completely unique existence to gil outside from throne of heroes)
Actually, I think Archer Herc has God's hand & Nemean Lion Skin, but won't have all the NP's from King's Order. It's definitely an interesting comparison, if only more info was released about both versions since Alcides still has 8 unknown NP's.

It's Herc. The weakest version ( berserker) was almost OP, and in FGO he's a top tier berserker even if he's a 4* one. In Archer form or saber he has access to it's full potential.

Afaik he only really dies to BS OP spammers like Gil and Emiya (who supposedly murdered him several times w/o using UBW in the Fate route, meaning he likely threw some broken phantasms at him), as well as to pretty rare divine weapons like Excalibur which somehow just cheat and take several lives at once. Most servants would kill him once or twice and then either die, or need to run since they literally can't damage him anymore.

I believe that his powers are just overpowered ON paper. He had a bit of trouble with Jack, who's one of the weakest servants in that war. He also hasn't curbstomped in fights he's in, like I thought he would have. That doesn't make him weak, he's certainly being set up as a major rival for Gil. I just don't think he's AS powerful as people are hyping him up to be.

obviously, he is pretty much an modified Hercules that was made to negate almost every major advantage Gilgamesh would have (negates gate of Babylon and Enkidu with noble phantasms he wouldn't typically have, and apparently has knowledge of enuma elish (even though that would probably be a longshot to know about before hand, you know since magi typically keep ton's of secrets and enuma elish is not even apart of his myth (named after his cultures creation myth)) and would be impossible to summon in any grail war like this without the already screwed up summoning system and the corruption of Hercules saint graph with the grail mud, hell they even changed his personality to be more ruthless. So yes he can obviously win especially since it seems he was custom made to screw over Gilgamesh, and even then Alcides says with all of these advantages he would require all of the energy his master can give him and several days in order to win.
I don't think the summoining-system is to blame, but obviously Bazdilot. I mean, he all of his three command spells, plus the Grail-Mud. I do think that it is logical in a sense.

3. CM: "Accept human nature - the Robe of the Earth." Okay, now that is something special. It seems to me more or less like Bazdilot used a command-spell to remove all Divinity from Hercules.
... and then adding Grail Mud to the mix? Yeah, that seems like a cocktail that would create something like this. Especially coming from a mage with so much willpower that he could affect Hercules, despite him using his will and Magic Resistance to resist.

What I want to know is who can defeat Gil if he was being ACTUALLY COMPLETELY SERIOUS. Because keep in mind, that the Gate of Babylon contains every notable and legendary weapon and tool and artifact ever to exist, that's why he has the originals and counters to every servant and Phantasm. So he would do a lot better if he were somehow forced to put off his arrogance and use everything in terms of advantage he has strategically and not hold back. This would mean that he should see the enemy as amusing or beneath himself as to not underestimate it.
True Archer Hercules might still beat him, but I want it to be when both if them are at their best for the most-accurate results, and to know more about what both of them are hiding.
Even if he is serious he is still shit experience wise. The most different would be that he pulls out Ea right from the start and start shooting the dimensional beam.
There is one thing about the gate of Babylon you should be aware of. It only contains man made weapons and divine weapons Gilgamesh uses. It does not contain other divine constructs.
If Gil gave a shit and used high grade demon/Devine weapons he would win no problem. But the ego is what handycaps him.

True but I think there are servants that at least has a small chance of beating Gil and others who are outright equal to him even if Gil uses full power. Achilles, Rama, Arjuna, alcides, artoria alter, Tesla, saber Lancelot, normal servant king Hassan, and da vinchi with prep time has a small chance against Gilgamesh even if he’s serious. Karna, scathach, Musashi, normal servant Solomon with the rings, normal servant quinerius, Edmond Dante, and oda Nobunaga are outright equal to Gilgamesh even if he’s going all out.
The dude has finally appeared in manga. He is so strong as expected. He survived against a barrage ,which would kill his zerker self about 100 times (literally) , without a scratch. Waiting for him to appear again.

Gilgamesh is just a one-trick pony; take away his Gates of Babylon and he's nothing. I don't really get the hype behind him honestly. But with his Gate of Babylon, Karna, Shirou Emiya, Vlad the Impaler (in his domain), and arguably (due to their invulnerabilites) Seigfried & Achilles can possibly beat him too.

I haven't seen Fate/Strange Fake yet, but all Gilgamesh did in Fate/Zero & Fate/Stay Night is literally just stand there, walk, and lift his hand when he was reaching for Ea. He actually got scared a little bit when Hercules almost laid a hand on him in Fate/Stay Night: UBW.

I wouldn't count on a full anime adaptation any time soon, as the LN is maybe half-way through the story and is being written very slowly due to author working on a bunch of other stuff and having health problems. At most we may get like a movie/OVA of the 1st Volume.

Alcides doesn't really "surpass" Gilgamesh in the way that you seem to imply in your title(clickbait much?). He is more on par with him because in the end of the day Gil still have EA and busting that thing out is pretty much a game over screen slapped to anybody even Alcides himself. Also yes, Alcides still have a few more NP he could use but more so is Gil. If Gil just took the fight seriously and really fought with his full potential, nobody should be able to defeat him other than those who are higher than him(Grand Servants, Types, Full powered Beasts etc.)

Heck , even his number of magic circuits is on the average side , with him having 27 , which is higher then even Touko Aozaki (at 20) which is one of the strongest mages in nasuverse.
To put things in context , rin has 40 natural and around 30 subs. The biggest difference is the amount of magic quantity each can handle , and shirou doesn't even come close to those , because he was not properly trained and his bloodline (his real family) has probably degraded with generations.

Nope, none of of SFs Servants will be added since the mangaka himself stated that he wished to finish the story first. The only exception was Enkidu but he wasnt first introduced in SF, he just has a major role in it.

There are things wrong with the analysis regarding Gilgamesh GoB. In the video it is assumed all weapons in the GoB are made by humans leaving aside EA. That is wrong, gilgamesh doesn't have weapons made after his death, but he has divine and demonic weapons not crafted by humans. The ones made before, and not by humans. We know many of these, and we can theorize he has others. Vajra is made by a god. Ig-Alima and Sul-sagana are divine constructs. Harpe was given by gods, Gram and merodach are holy weapons. Of those it is not specified but for me they look as not made by humans. Dáinsleif is made by dwarfs in the original story and in fate we know it is at least a demonic sword. He surely has many more weapons not made by humans we don't know.
Then there are a lot of items missing. Even if nine lives worked like tsubame gaeshi, he has "A Defensive Armament that protects against the Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon, capable of stopping Tsubame Gaeshi as a result". He can also use nine lives himself.
And if that isn't enough he has the Shield of the Gods, which is confirmed to resist A+ rank NPs.
Who knows what else does he have, that's only stuff we have seen.

So in other words, this Hercules's noble phantasm is similar to Head Captain Yamamoto from Bleach with his bankai have multiple abilities.
Honestly, Gil is like Accelerator from To Aru series. They are the strongest at the beginning of the franchise but as the story goes, they become a fighting strength reference object. We've reached the third year of Fate Grand Order, and I can name at least a dozen characters that can defeat Gil.
