I know that most folks say that Tuesdays Gone is their most beautiful song but for me, this song is IT! It has put chill bumps on me every time I hear it for 50 years. I don’t know what effect it is but the guitar solo has a hollow, longing sound that just fits this song like a key fits a lock. Thanks again Biz!

Best southern rock band ever. Hell, one of the best bands ever, regardless of genre! For your next Skynyrd sampling, I recommend a deep cut off of Nuthin Fancy called Am I Losin’. It has a funky breakdown section as well as one of the best Alan King guitar solos ever. Like you said, Skynyrd don’t miss!
Actually, I meant Ed King. I saw an interview with him and he talked about the lead and how he played it. I never heard the song before and decided to check it out. The lead blew me away.
