I may sound like an annoying mother but, I know a guy that cleaned out an old boat hull with no respirator. It nearly killed him. He ended up with mold spores in his lungs. He has permanent damage to his lungs. I would wear a respirator for old projects. Love the videos 👍🏻
It could be mold, or mouse poop🐁💩, the old nasty fiberglass insulation, or the ghost of Grandpa Emerson haunting Kole for tearing up his old truck.......😮😮😮😅
Thank you for saying that!! Love all these “fab” style channels and i want to watch them for a looooong time!!! MASK UP!!!! Otherwise love the content !!
Love the Jack Knife Motors videos. This truck/camper build is going to be a good one to follow for sure. And to top it off, you're going to Alaska! So cool. Would love to help you on your journey. We run a channel dedicated to RVing to Alaska, focusing on the journey and the destination. Would love to help you with your Alaska adventure and any other RV related questions you may have.
Love seeing Allen the Wizard. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Since you got the Chevy Van from the auction I would have used that and got a hotel every few days. Or just do a van conversion. I applaud your youthful enthusiasm but I think you have more optimism than reality of how extensive this project really is. 2 is 1, and 1 is 0 (none). Always have a "Backup plan ". Looking forward to seeing your skills with Allen the Wizard in making his videos Spectacular like you're doing with Jackknife.
I've just watched the last couple videos that involve the C60 and it has introduced me to the channel. It looks like it's gonna be an interesting project however I think if you describe what your vision is as well as what the plans for how things are gonna come together would make things a little more interesting more so than just showing how this chassis got pulled out of a container. I mean you can show that with a voiced narrative of maybe a little backstory on what this chassis and drivetrain was maybe some measurements on if you gotta stretch it out or if it's long what are you gonna do to fill the extra space like tol storage a back deck. I don't just some information on what your plan of attack is gonna be while showing what was involved in extricating it from its tomb. That's another thing that would be of interest to many viewers on one of the channels involved with heavy D is a tour of this storage yard it's mentioned and talked about many times as a place where many dreams hopes and planned awesomeness has come to rot n be forgotten I think it would be neat to see what all is in there with a little backstory
Love the idea of putting the old cab on a modern chassis. Makes perfect sense to me. I'm curious though why you would start with such a dilapidated camping trailer though? I've built a small camping trailer and it seems like less work to build from scratch than try to rebuilt the one you have. Is it keeping the "old time" theme of the entire project? Not second guessing! Just curious. 🙂
That would be great to get some stuff done up there last video i seen of the wizards was one or two windows put in i subbed cause i seen you guys where friends think of that darn mountain
Love the look of the truck and can't wait to see it done. I've spent a lot of time on the farm in old trucks like it. Hope everything works out for you and you and your family have a amazing adventure in it. Thanks for the video stay safe and keep up the great work. Love the channel.
Okay Cole understand the reason for the build but you really should find an item from the grandfather too incorporate into the build other than the truck as a tribute so he makes the trip with you in spirit 😊😊
I'm doing a Body Swap with my 64 Chevy Truck on my 97 4x4 Yukon n it fits n I just Cut n Shorten my Bed to fit my Wheel Base n so far it only Cost me $50 in Blades 😅😅😅 n it's Turing out Nice
I really look forward to Sundays and these episodes 👍 It's always great to see the Wizard too! Kole, do you know Alan's shirt size at all? I want to send him a T shirt, from one Morris to another 😁👍
Maybe start looking for a wrecked late model camp trailer that you can gut and use for the appliances and inner worings for your old camper shell. Budget Builds did something similar on one of their builds.
I would have liked to see one of the Edison Motors Pickup kits installed, but I'm not sure if it would work. Maybe you could consider it in a future project? Play safe from Elliot Lake Ontario, Canada.
If anyone is feeling lonely and brokenhearted know that Jesus heals and delivers from every form of torment, he truly gives a peace that surpasses understanding that this evil world can never give. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Fear and worry come from the devil but life and peace come from Jesus, God has been misrepresented by people who don’t know him.
i have a 1978 ford f-600 i am building a cabin on this summer. my plan is to also put a cummins in it! I live here in Alaska and im going to live out of the truck cabin while i build my cabin and shop over the next few years.
Safety glasses along with a respirator or at least a mask would prevent one getting crap in one's eyes and lungs! This isn't your first time stripping vehicles.
You need to wear a dust mask at a minimum. It might just be me, but that thing doesn't look like it's worth saving. Maybe an old Airstream camper would've been better.
@@BASIN-NATION you can buy a 10’ used shipping container and mount it to the frame, cut windows, skylights, door… add insulation, floor and wallboard for cheap.
Charge a battery by driving in circles and wasting fuel ⛽️. Why use a battery charger? Brilliant! That's a knuckle dragger meme all day long. Allen the Whiz kid Whizzer 🥸 !

100% I’m the guy without a mask on or sunscreen. I appreciate the advice and concern. My wife appreciates it’s more haha
Same seen i guy take old oil to the face an scratched his eye an now cant see right cause the metal flakes in it
It could be mold, or mouse poop🐁💩, the old nasty fiberglass insulation, or the ghost of Grandpa Emerson haunting Kole for tearing up his old truck.......😮😮😮😅
Yep, funny how any sort of breathing impairment gets your attention
Thank you for saying that!! Love all these “fab” style channels and i want to watch them for a looooong time!!! MASK UP!!!! Otherwise love the content !!
Nice work Cole!! I love your build. And Alan is real one for helping you out on this.
Thanks Rick!! Appreciate the comment

Good question! That was the original plan. To keep things matching as much as possible
Wear you mask Kole this mom would miss you if you got sick. 🤣😀👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Thanks! Kole needs a respirator for sure
That would be great to get some stuff done up there last video i seen of the wizards was one or two windows put in i subbed cause i seen you guys where friends think of that darn mountain
You should have bought the tiny cabin and put that on the truck. How cool would that be.
The tiny cabin was just barely not tiny enough. I thought about it
Looking forward to the final
Me too!! Lots of work left haha
Just found this channel because of this old rig.. super sick idea you guys have for the build!

I had a 1969 c60 did that one have the 366 tall block? That is a multi fuel motor I’ve been told great motor for a bug out vehicle
Wizardry Wonder Works for hire! You pick it, we stick it!
I love it!! He should definitely use that
This will like very cool
Good work. Love the mountains in the background. I miss the landscape of Utah.
Okay Cole understand the reason for the build but you really should find an item from the grandfather too incorporate into the build other than the truck as a tribute so he makes the trip with you in spirit 😊😊
You just wait. I’ve got some plans for that
Another Sunday, another awesome Jackknife motors video love it guys once again!
Make the vids longer. Love watching this roamer come to life.

Can't wait to see this come to life. Cole, wear your ppe brother.
100% gotta wear the PPE
I do like his stash of CL9000 cabs !!!!!
I am confident that it's gonna be very cool!
I think it’s going to be really cool
Cole: "Too bad that painting is ruined."
Alan: "Nah, nothing duct tape can't fix." 😂😂😂
Alan can fix anything haha
I'm keeping close eye on this. I'm building a 72 bus in a totertruck for pulling my camper.
I’ve always wanted to build a toterbus
This stuff is super cool, thanks guys!
Glad you like it!
#jackknifemotors personally I think a pair of semi saddle tanks would look cool on it when you get to that part of the build
That’s sounds like the best idea I’ve heard
@@BASIN-NATION imagine having the saddle tanks and a pair of exhaust stacks with the flappers
So jacked every time I see a Jackknife Video.
Thanks for watching
Ya should have left that trailer open so Sparks could put more stuff in it.
I appreciate the video
Thanks for watching
Yep, brought along the Wizard so he could do all the work.
I like that its going to be a cool project!
Nice music. What did you lose a bet? 😁 Also, get that man a Battery Tender.
Are you guys gonna stop by the Kilchers farm and hang out there for a bit?
We definitely should have that planned!!
Got to luv the Wizard 🧙 🤠👍
He’s really fun to be around
Dude dont rub your eyes when you are handling insulation lol
Awesome can’t wait to see this come together. Hey maybe wear a mask next time you rip mold and insulation out
I really look forward to Sundays and these episodes 👍
It's always great to see the Wizard too!
Kole, do you know Alan's shirt size at all? I want to send him a T shirt, from one Morris to another 😁👍
He’s a Large
Thanks for watching! Genuinely appreciate your contribution
@@BASIN-NATION I appreciate your appreciation! 😂
You guys being so interactive is great, I understand it can take up a lot of your time 👍
Maybe start looking for a wrecked late model camp trailer that you can gut and use for the appliances and inner worings for your old camper shell. Budget Builds did something similar on one of their builds.
I hope to find something like that to take parts off of
Awesome
Gonna be awesome sauce
I'm hooked.
Thanks for watching
I like the project

Such a fun build!!
We are having a lot of fun planning this one out. Time to get to work
Maybe a respirator
100%
Feels good to see Alan today again.
Lots of love for Alan and what he does

love these shows, to much talking though ...
We try and maintain a good balance

Simple question. What does a rolling chassis like that cost ?
Cummins forever 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Lesser Men would have run. Keep at it.
Wanna jump in??
Should get Hunter to work on this truck straight up
Hunter would be great on this
This chassis getting a Carli suspension?
That would be nice

I think it will be worth saving eventually haha
Hahahah internet safety police chimed in! Momy says be
safe!!! Its goin to be awsome keep workin!
Shoulda did a 5.9 12 valve or 24 valve Cummins
I did what I had access to.
What's up with all the beeping I know you can disable it it gets annoying to constantly hear it
Very annoying
I would divorce that trans and put an Allison behind that 5.9. You'll regret using that Mopar gear box.
I don’t understand what’s special about this camper. Is any of it salvageable? Could you not have built a new one?
We would basically be building a new camper

38? 🤣

I bet that thing is full of asbestos……🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮
