Great video! I bought the kit version with 20a esc, lipo 1200mah battery and servo.
next upgrades: better radio/receiver and metal gear axle.

i just bought one!
just built the kit truck myself. Nicely designed, except some detailes around putting the cab and bed together to the frame they had missed out it looked like. I just cut off a couple of brackets on the cab to get things easier to install.
just ordered mine and beyond excited!

Do you know the difference between this and the c14 is it just the body? C14 is more crawler looking with removed bed etc.. And is 10 bucks cheaper. Id rather have this one to modify the scalr look of but 10 bucks cheaper is a lot cheaper on something that cost 35 bucks

How to control speed of this. mine has only one speed that is fast. When i press trigger softly it doesn't move only
You have to change the receiver, ESC and steering servo.

The kit versions have softer tires, steering servo, stronger motor (but no radio and battery included as the RTR versions)

@@arielibuado9990 I use a Flysky FS-GT2B radio, low cost, good quality. Batteri Lipo 2S, about 800 mAh size 15x35x65mm. Possible one can fit a bit larger battery. If one got a battery in spare, it is likely not needed with larger battery.

Very poor assembly instructions with the kit(s). What holds the steering servo in the steering shell? It just shows the steering servo dropped in and nothing securing it to the steering shell, it just sits there loose.
And on every assembly video I've seen everyone has put the taillight decals on wrong. The taillight decals goes on the truck bed first then the clear lens on over them. You'll need to trim the excess off around the colored part and the holes that the taillight lens mounting pins go through.
I have 2 kits, one with a blue body, the other with a red body. The first kit (blue body) came without axles. The supplier refunded all my money and I got to keep the kit for spare parts. I ordered the second kit (red body) from Banggood. That kit had all the parts.
And the only original replacement axles I could find were plastic ones with brass metal gears. They are terrible. The gears in the diff lock up if the input shaft is pushed in slightly and are very rough feeling when turning. I wouldn't recommend them.
