Multi Aria Award winning musician, winner or the Best World Music Album - Dr Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu - invited 13 yr old Straalen to sing with him at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and together they created a beautiful collaboration of Gurrumul's beautiful song - Wiyathul.
Straalen was so proud to sing this song in Gurrumul's native aboriginal language.
This is a snippet of that performance. Straalen said it was a dream come true and the utmost honour to sing with the man he calls 'The true voice of Australia'.

Two cultures sharing their gifts off singing. Beautiful Gurrumal the black angel and Straalen the younger Angel together singing one of Gurrumals. Gurrumal never knew how colourful our world is also at the same time politic made it dulled and gloomy. This beautiful Angel wrote this beautiful song and sadly not too long he left us. I was so sad wished that, I could get to go watch him on stage. Brings my tears now just thinking about Gurrumal.
