Hello just a recommendation for your next video remove the background music or reduce it to much lower voice . I personally find it distracting . Just saw this video on my recommandation but music is throwing me off .

Thank you for the video. I do have a couple questions, though…
    1) Are there any unique &/or special instances in which dual citizenship is allowed? I don’t mean “allowed“ as in, “this is always done across-the-board if *these* boxes are checked.” But I mean, are there any instances in which the government did/will make a very unique exception(s) that they don’t normally make?
    2) And will my wife, who has Malaysian citizenship, need to renounce her Malaysian citizenship to gain Singaporean citizenship, or will her Malaysian citizenship count in place of Singaporean citizenship since Singapore used to be part of Malaysia?
Again, thank you for the video. 😊

      Thanks for leaving a comment!
      1) In Singapore, dual citizenship is only possible for minors under 21 years of age. Minors who obtained Singapore citizenship by descent or registration must take the Oath of Renunciation, Allegiance and Loyalty (ORAL) after turning 21 and before their 22nd birthday to retain their Singapore citizenship.
If you do not take the ORAL within 12 months of turning 21, you will automatically lose your Singapore citizenship on your 22nd birthday. If this happens, there is no guarantee you will be able to continue studying, working or living in Singapore on any form of Student's Pass, Work Pass or Visit Pass, or as a permanent resident.
      2) If your wife receives an In-Principle Approval (IPA) for her Singapore citizenship application, part of the mandatory steps to complete her citizenship formalities is to renounce her Malaysian citizenship at the High Commission of Malaysia.
      Hope this helps!
