Honestly kinda perfect.
Small and light enough to not be dangerous or stupid, practical enough for basically anyone that does haul or tow big loads, no insane fuel consumption and all the fun you want.
Was lucky enough to get my hands on the car as well, to test drive and review it. Absolutely amazing what Vw has made for such a cheap price!

Nice video, thanks. A lot of people think that the engine in the Polo is a de-tuned Golf GTI engine, but this is not the case! The Polo EA888 (same engine family as the Golf GTI) runs at a higher compression ratio of 11.6:1 and applies 'lean mixture' principle, which is good for fuel consumption (Miller-Zyklus). Not so good if you want to tune it. Of course, a tune to 250HP is no problem, but you cannot go to 300+ HP, like you can with a Golf GTI.
You are right!!! Do you know if exists program to make the dsg changes faster?
@@jimgrampsas8259 Some Chiptuners do offer TCU updates that e.g. increase RPM of the shifts, reduce shift times, increase LC RPM etc. But always do the combination of ECU and TCU tuning, as the DSG is 'King' and controls what the engine is allowed to do... If you only do the ECU tune, you may run into DSG clutch slipping issues etc.

Stage 2 polo gti can reach 270 at his max without big upgrades. But for daily driving i think 300 horsepower is overkill, unless you race alot or visite alot of trackdays and want to show off. Polo/golf gti standard are both fun for daily driving without spending insane amount of money at the gas station atleast without having it tuned.
There are tuners in germany who can get this engine over 320 hp stage 3. It's not impossible but yeah this engine is completely different than the other 2.0 tsi engines.

Um in den Sportmodus zu gelangen einfach Wahlhebel nach unten antippen, aber Vorsicht um in den normalen Drive Modus zurück wieder nach unten antippen. Um in andere Modis zugelangen Modustaste weiter drücken.
Viel Spaß und Unfallfreies fahren wünscht selbst ein Polo GTI Fahrer.

@@Chris-cr5cg ob sie besser leuchten als Halogenlampen weiss ich nicht, aber ich bin zufrieden und man bedenke die rote Designlinie sieht halt besser aus,dass Interesse beim wiederverkauf wird denke ich auch besser sein.

Kannst du mir noch was zum Kraftstoffverbrauch sagen? Wie viel verbrauchst du auf 100 Kilometern circa? Tankst du Super oder SuperPlus?

Beyond 5000 rpm it won't go. You can measure and hear it. Its destricted. I think a stage 1 (just software) tuning will solve this. Power will go to approx. 250 bhp instead 200bhp without long term problems for the engine.
Problems wont happen but like this, theres less strain on the engine
Not saying that this one is toooo insanely high performance anyway, its a good mix of reliability and power.
But still.
A "normal" stage 1 ECU for this engine gets about 230-240 HP.

It was avalaible in the first quarter of 2019. I got it in February with a manual gearbox.

Well... I didn't know they started selling the GTI version again. Probably because the ID cars are finally rolling out and thus, the 2.0 liter engine of the little Polo wouldn't pay such a big toll on the automakers' average CO2 emission of its fleet anymore.

schwierig, ist ja nicht mehr als neuwagen, wegen Mietwagen oder Pressefahrzeug. da müssen wir jemanden suchen der das hat oder wir kaufen es selber und testen. Geplant ist dieses Jahr eigene autohändler zu öffenen und da können wir gebrauchte kaufen und testen und weiterverkaufen. mal sehen.
Needs 7 speed with shorter ratios
7 speed arent able to handle the amount of toque plus horsepower thats why vw used the 6 speeds in there gti variants until the golf mk8 that has a 7 speed with wet clutches.
In the new Polo GTI (autumn 2021) will be the 7-speeds DSG, hopefully with shorter gear ratios.

Very long gears for cruising, but not that good for accelerations. I’ve got the same model of Polo but with the 1.6 TDI, and gears are veeeery long

@@Bobgr12 keep calm bro, nobody compared the two engines. I was talking about the gear ratio of the VAG group, you can notice this from this vid. Max speed in 5th gear, despite of having 7 gears

@@Bobgr12 Meine Rede. Opel im Namen und dann solch ne Aussage. .. ich arbeite in einer großen Stadtverwaltung und unsere Dienstwagenkolone besteht z.T. aus neuen Corsas. Die Dinger kannste in die Tonne kloppen. Die Verarbeitung bei Opel ist unterirdisch! Ich fahre privat nen Polo VI mit 115 ps. Der fährt besser, schneller und ist komfortabler.. Lange Rege kurzer Sinn. Solche Aussagen mit so einem Nick kann man nicht ernst nehmen xD
@@Roxas_XIII_13 So ein Schwachsinn. Die neuen Corsas sind absolut solide in der Qualität. Laber kein Mist, ist nicht ohne Grund aktuell der meistverkaufte Kleinwagen.
Und was Opel betrifft. Schaut euch mal den Corsa E OPC an. Da ist der Polo nichts gegen. Bei dem GTI kannste ja nicht mal ESP ausschalten.

Das ist kein Auto. Vielleicht sollte man sich auch mal fragen, welchen Anspruch an Qualität die meisten dieser Käufer haben. Anscheinend kann der ja nicht hoch sein. Wird auch eine Geldsache sein.
Die Karren kannste jedenfalls vergessen. Ich nehme jeden Dacia vor nen Opel. Ohne Witz.
Darüber diskutiere ich auch nicht weiter.

Spur halten ist schon schwierig 🙄 vielleicht solltest du wenn de es nett kannst langsamer Autos fahren oder es ganz lassen
Bei der harten Federung liegt das wohl schon eher am Auto.
