there's a video on how to reset that somewhere. I had a 2016 that had the same problem. I think you hold it down for 15 seconds hold it up for 15 seconds and then it resets itself and it should work.
Tried taking the switch out and reinstalling. Worked! I need to get the circuit board cleaner to take it to the next step if needed. Well filmed and explained. Thanks again.
Just wanted to chime in with a Thank you! Your video was very informative, and it worked. However when putting it back together I somehow managed to pop out the internals of the switch and had a little spring and a little plastic piece come flying out. But I kept at it and figured out how it all went back together and it's working great now. Keep up the good work. Take care.

Yep. Known issue in Dodge Ram forum too. Mine has been doing it for YEARS. Replaced the entire controller several times. Works for like a week or a few days then the front windows stop working again. DEFINITELY NOT the motors. Resetting the battery works sometimes. Or a computer reset from the dealership will activate it for awhile. But the problem always returns. Haven't tried the cleaning truck yet.
Great video! The only thing I would suggest is not to use dielectric grease in connectors. Use electric grease instead. Dielectric grease is used as an insulator, not ideal for metal on metal electrical connections. Use dielectric only on the porcelain part of your spark plugs to prevent carbon tracking and ease of removal of boots in the future.
I have a 2015 and my window sounds like something may be wedged or slide down the track or something. Or is that what it sounds like when this happens?!

Help, I have a 2002 jeep liberty sport. On my window switch(which is only the fron center for all windows) well it rolls all windows up and down except front passenger, it will roll down sometimes but won't go up. Like now its cracked open and won't go up or down. I bought a new switch and came with the pigtail, I put new switch in n still not working. Do I re wire the new pigtail of wires it came with? Or is it a bigger issue?ty
Having a similar problem on my 09 Ram. My conclusion is the copper on one of the little round pads for the door lock is pretty much all worn off. I just ordered one off ebay.

Great video. I have a 2017 Ram Big Horn 1500 and lights for the mirror adjustment on the door panel don’t light up. I bought the truck used so I don't know if they are supposed to light up or not. I saw a previous reply to a similar question regarding replacing the bulbs and you said they are in the circuit board. I went to the dealer and they said they are not supposed to light up. I can't believe they would not have them light up because you can't adjust your mirrors at night if they don't without opening the door or blindly feeling for them. The letters around the key fob insert don't light up and another switch on the dash doesn't either. Do you know the answer?
They light up lol idk who told u this but all of these master switch mods have indicator lights ( orange for mirrors) and a back light green to light the buttons when headlights are on or when car is in "on" mode ( key switched to accessories)

Hello Syed, I just watched this video last night and followed it step by step. But the same thing happened to me with the little spring and little plastic piece. I actually had to take it apart and carefully put it back together and now it works perfectly. So the corrosion WAS the original problem which was fixed with the electrical cleaner and q-tip method. If your still having trouble with the spring and the little plastic piece let me know and I'll post a video on how to reinstall those. Good luck to you.
Great video. But please do one to show how to get the window up when there is a broken button on the switch. My DS window button is broken and I took it apart like u did and one of the little white plastic brackets broke off. Is there something else I can use to connect w the green panel contacts and add enough pressure to get the window to work???
Thank you, for a temporary fix to JUST get the window back up you can energize the window regulator motor by using a jump pack with alligator clips and wire and connect the clips to where the plug plugs into the motor. and that should make the motor spin.

You have to check it can u role it up from passanger side? If not maybe a fuse blew or a short in the window motor/ wiring... Gunna have to open the door up and check
I had to lay mine in the unit first then place the circuit board ontop of it. Just make sure you line everything up correctly and it should screw down nicely.

Same issue with my 2016 rebel.. I bought it used.It worked fine out of the car lot and as soon as I got it home.It stopped working.. I was like son of a bitch....This is how this is going to be..lol

The door lock switches, were not working in my 2015 RAM 1500 (driver's door). Did as you said, and they came to life. Thank you men.

Thanks worked well. I ordered a replacement that would not allow unlocking doors. Your clean contact process saved the oe part, although i used wd-40

My 2012 RAM driver switch will roll the driver window down but won't roll up the window I believe the switch is broke your thoughts
Worked for me. I had one problem removing one screw because the screw head was covered with a sticker.

No just have your car off, and you'll be able to disconnect and reconnect the switch with no problem.

None of my windows work from master OR individually. Dealer said it was master switch, what do you think?
Ive had vehicles in the past, were the if the master switch malfunctioned the other window would have issues as well. It could be the issue
