The compromise has to be: 1. They still have to wait for warrants 2. They have to read rights 3. Secure evidence properly But Team Arrow gets to: 1. Operate out of their own facility 2. Use their own equipment and uniforms 3. Operational control in the field on their taskforce missions. This wasnt spelled out clearly, but it was hinted at.
Right. They also don't do anything illegal during the operation (so Oliver shoots the bad guy but only when the life of a fellow officer - Dinah - is threatened and even then he uses proportionate force).
1. Bronze Tiger's real name is Ben Turner. 2. Connor Hawke in the comics is the son of Oliver Queen and a woman named Moonday Hawke. He's very dark-skinned but has his dad's blond hair. 3. Dinah Lance in the comics lost her Cry in the first issue of the Green Arrow comic from the late '80s. She lost it after being tortured by a bad guy. A long time later she said that one of the doctors operating on her realized she had a second set of vocal cords, and removed them because the thought they were vestigial and potentially dangerous. She got it back when she was fatally injured and saved by a dip in a Lazarus Pit.
You guys are the only reviewers who got the Connor Hawk issue right (imho). In the future we saw on Legends, John had a daughter Sarah and an adopted son he named John Junior. When JJ didn't feel like he lived up to the name John diggle jr., he went back to his original name Connor. After Flashpoint, Sarah became JJ. .. but John still adopts Connor. This all ties in nicely with the Flash King shark versus Grodd episode, where we get the call back "no stranger than finding out your son used to be your daughter" line.
Solid episode again. Still weird not having a villain for the whole season but I like this - breaking the season into arcs with their own focused story elements. Forces the writers to be more rounded in their storytelling and actually make the protagonists so compelling that we are satisfied with them working through their arcs. Flash could really use A LOT of that nuance right now imo.
Emiko is from Earth 2 with Dante as Rash of Earth 2(or if this be bigger twist as Earth 2 Arrow we know that is Arrow on Earth 2 but we never see him ) that explain how she know that Laurel is Black Siren
Emiko works with Dante, it could be assumed when Diaz during any interactions with Dante he saw her, also Emiko as New Green Arrow helped capture Diaz. Also if she was dressed in Green Leather as Bronze Tiger said and he could only see her through the slot all he would see is the Green Arrow outfit.
So my theory is that in the original timeline, the Diggles adopted Bronze Tiger's son and named him John Diggle Jr. and also have a daughter named Sara. In this timeline, they have a son already named John and they still adopt Connor. Its the same person but Flashpoint changed the timeline so now we won't get the future we saw on Legends of Tomorrow.
@@spacepenguins8939 What if in the original timeline he needed a new name because of who his birth dad is? Clearly this is the same person as the Connor Hawke in the episode of Legends. Fortunately that timeline doesn't exist anymore so we don't need to worry about it.

I understood both sides of the argument imo and it was nice to give Dinah a bit of spotlight too ( she is my second favorite version of BC on the show ). the compromise of making Team Arrow “ the black ops “ of the SCPD was ok and it was nice to see the Bunker and the team work together again. Both the Laurel and Flashforward stuff was fine . It was nice to see more of the dynamic between William and Mia which I certainly find somewhat enjoyable aswell as liking William as a character more , I like that this episode highlights how similar Mia is to Oliver and William is to Felicity . Also , Diaz is confirmed dead which honestly was surprising because I didn’t think he would be . I certainly wasn’t expecting Connor Hawke to be Bronze Tiger’s son ( I assume Bronze Tiger May die and Diggle will then adopt his son ) aswell as Emiko possibly having killed Diaz.
I'm surprised neither of you came to the conclusion about Tiger's son being Connor Hawke sooner. As soon as he mentioned having a kid, I remembered Hawke mentioning he was adopted in the last episode.

Sara was "the Canary" on 'Arrow' and became "White Canary" on Legends. But yep, the cry device seems to have been conveniently forgotten. Or maybe they drop a line about Dinah's injury meaning it won't work for her. That kind of thing is pretty much why next season is the right time for 'Arrow' to end IMO - it's starting to creak under the weight of its own continuity.
I think the flash forwards are what happens if Oliver dies in the crossover. But I think that Oliver will sacrifice himself and the Monitor will see this and bring him back and change his destiny just like he changed Barry and Kara's last crossover. Or maybe Barry will run back in time and change it. I just don't want to believe that after everything Oliver has done and all the sacrifices he's made that his legacy would be this terrible future for Star City and his family. And the fact that almost everyone believes he'll die makes me believe he won't.
One idea i've seen suggested is that Oliver disappears during Crisis, becomes lost in time (like Batman in 'Final Crisis') and then reappears _in_ the flash forwards (maybe in the 'Arrow' episode after the crossover, if there is one). So he's out of the current Arrowverse continuity _but_ he still gets a happy ending (albeit eventually). If any Arrowverse show could end with the hero dying i'd say it is indeed 'Arrow'. But i'm still not sure they'll do it, not without at least leaving a hopeful note that he _might_ still be out there.
Anon Ymes That's an interesting new theory. And except for last year when they moved the crossover to episode 9 so it wouldn't conflict with the Flash 100, the crossovers have always been episode 8 of all shows, which would mean there are 2 episodes left. I just don't think they would make the crossover the final episode of Arrow. And it would suck if the last 2 episodes of Arrow are about all of them mourning Oliver. I heard that Stephen Amell is signed on for 10 episodes!
@@cherryrosemararac5893 Yeah, I really don't see them ending 'Arrow' on a crossover episode either. Whatever happens, the 'Arrow' cast deserve a proper send-off and there's too much going on during a crossover to do that. Why do they treat tape recorders like ancient lost technology that's difficult to use when it is legit the most easily used piece of equipment ever Also congrats to the SCPD for making GCPD look competent by comparison Also if your Canary Cry isn't working you might want to try getting in touch with that group of scientists who know all about Meta-Powers yknow the ones who are just a couple of citys away
I mean, seriously, the middle ground is not that hard, all they need to do is to show a little bit respect to police department. The policemen, they matter. All those Star City morons really can think single-minded. For Oliver and team Arrow, they can just apply for being one special task force at the beginning. Mayor has seen how efficient they can be, she definitely got a reason. For SCPD, they should learn to play grey ground, especially they show see team Arrow's potential and talents. Just look how Gordon and Batman built one unbreakable force of Gotham. Batman respects Gordon and GCPD, so he never executed criminals. Gordon and GCPD respects Batman, so they let Batman to help them do the dirty work. This is the goal of this kind of partnership, Star City, what can I say? It's still too young. And Oliver never made himself as a symbol, which is another problem of him.
Yeah, I wasn't happy with the plot of the episode, the point was there should be common ground that things have to change but it's not different it's more of the same. Everyone just acts really, really dumb and in the end it doesn't matter. It just feels like they needed an extra filler episode and threw this in.
Oliver particularly seemed against the grain. He's usually thinking several steps ahead, he's a survivalist after all, but bull-rushing Midas in what even a novice would recognize as an inadmissible coerced confession was more a Wild Dog move than a Green Arrow move. That and yelling at the police sergeant, a man he would have spoken to with respect even in disagreement when he was mayor. There were a lot of other points. While I don't totally reject the episode, the writing felt as weak as the past year or so when Team Arrow was at it's sloppiest and the fans were ticked. On the positive side, I will say I like how they've developed Bronze Tiger. With the revelation of whom his son is, though, I fear B.T. might not be around for long.
little thing everyone allways gets wrong, Sara Lance nerver was The Black Canary. Sara was The Canary and Laurel later created the Black Canary persona as kind of a reincarnation of The Canary.
I didn't like this episode that much, the operation with the police didn't work (keep in mind that it's the first they work together) & it's over, imagine if the first list or team arrow operation failed would he go nope not doing it. It's clearly Emiko who did it why would her come back be "they never believe black siren" when she shouldn't know & I think they'd believe Laural over Emiko due to the fact she refused to kill Diaz last episode with Felicity so she'd stand up for her & after everything Oliver has been through I'm pretty sure he'd be suspicious of Emiko, I mean it's not like he's been betrayed before by you know Chase, Artemis, Slade there's probably more but I don't want to get into it.
@@brifo3394 they have been killing barring the flash forwards. I just felt the stuff with the police was rushed to a it's not gonna work after 1 operation together & they all seemed to not want it to work except for Oliver & later Diggle.
DJB Suicide -I don’t think it’s that they didn’t want it to work I think it’s that they were all being stubborn and unwilling to compromise. It’s very difficult when you KNOW you have the right answer to a problem but are basically being required to let everyone get it wrong. Team Arrow has always been more efficient than the police yet the cops were essentially telling them they are doing things the wrong way. And I understand that from Oliver & Felicity’s perspective things seem to be on a time crunch now that they are having a baby, so their patience is basically non existent.

@@donaldwatson7698 I agree. and yeah I don't think B.T. is long for this world. But he'll probably get a chance to do some good before then.
Early gang!
little thing everyone allways gets wrong, Sara Lance nerver was The Black Canary. Sara was The Canary and Laurel later created the Black Canary persona as kind of a reincarnation of The Canary.
You faild this City
WHO Said so stupid words
Ouer Father did
Oh😂😂😂😂
That Connor Hawk moment broke my heart a little . . . 😢
I completely disagree, Arrow has been killing it and it keeps getting better and better.
