Beautiful table!! However,,, after watching folks put a white glaze over the dark stain for the last 20 years I still cannot see the attraction to it. Love your table and design. I dont care for the top at all. Im glad you love it as you should. You take pride in your work and build beautiful pieces. Glaze isnt for my tastes tho. This comment is made with all due respect to one of my superior woodworkers. 😊😊
Wes, can I RE-FINISH a piece like that? Would it be ok to just sand and sand then wirebrush and have at it? Maybe it'll be too late since a finish has already soaked in but it's a thrift store find and a real nice cabinet to learn with. It's a very nice clear furniture grade plywood in great condition except for the finish being dried out. I want it to turn out like yours.
