I am captivated and so entertained by watching you build. Every time I am asking myself, "can I build that?" You make the whole process look so easy. That's the difference between someone who knows what they are doing and someone who wants to know. Love the build.
Hi...thank you so much for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed the video. Wes
Watching this again. Made one of these recently. And made another that was a different size but similiar.I couldn’t remember which one I got inspiration from for the smaller one. This was it. Great video. It helped me get mine made.
Very good...I really appreciate the comment. So glad it was helpful, thanks! Wes
Good job as usual Wes. I have commented before about you wearing a watch, but like some else has commented on you not wearing a dust mask or respiratory. A dust extraction attached to your sander does not take 100% dust away. Please look after your health Wes.👍
That kerf cut to fix the cupping is awesome…thank you Wes!
Thank you...it is a neat trick! Appreciate the visit, Wes
I love the kerf cuts trick!
very helpful concepts! Thank you
You got heaps of experience man , i like ur videos ❤❤
I learned so much from your videos thank you so much Wes !!
Great little project! Loved the simple, straight forward presentation. Thanks Wes!
Hey thank you for watching!! Glad you enjoyed the video. Wes
Beautiful little cabinet Wes! I love the style and the craftsmanship. Great tip on taking the cupping out too.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks for watching!! Wes
👍
Great job. Might build this one. You're a craftsman.
Nice…I’m definitely adding that to my line up of projects. Everyone needs one 😃. Thank you Wes!
You do a fantastic job of explaining your work and I love your videos. Wish you would have shown assembling the panels in the doors and fastening the end pieces. You’re an excellent instructor!
I have a video "building shaker doors like a pro" that would answer any questions. Thank you for watching and for your kind words. Wes
I've watched this before. Always enjoy your videos. About to make a cabinet like this.
Good luck...glad you enjoyed the video. Wes
Lovely shaker cabinet, thanks Wes.
Glad you like it!
Thanks ❤❤❤😊
That is a beautiful cabinet. I'm a new subscriber and a big fan of Norm Abram. You remind me of him and "The New Yankee Workshop" which I dearly miss.
Thanks for the sub! First time I have heard that about Norm, he was actually one of my favorites too! Thanks for watching, Wes
Excellent.
Many thanks!
Wes, love this cabinet. Do you have any update on when the plans may be available? Thanks!
Looking to build a bathroom hutch, wondering if you have ideas and what type materials to use?, love the vids!
Great as always really enjoyed what kind off bit did you use to make the cove mold and have a merry Christmas
Thanks for the comment...it is called a "cove bit". Wes
I built a cabinet very similar to this but chalk painted it in red before a top cat of grey like yours then when dry sanded distressed portions for the red to show thru. Might not be your cup of tea but just a different line of thought.
Sounds great....thanks for sharing! Wes
😍Wes, I so need a cabinet just like that. Your craftsmanship is beautiful. Are there plans somewhere?
No, sorry...not yet but we are working on it.
When I make something like this, I prefer to use a 1/4” nap 4” roller on the long surfaces. No brush marks.
That works very well...thanks for the visit, Wes
Great video , just concerned on one thing …. for your own health when Sanding why not wear a respirator or even a basic dust mask 🥴
I love how u built the cabinet Wes. I'm a little miffed by the paint choice? Is that what the Shakers did after building their cabinets like this one? I know they might've used coloured paints like reds, maroons and greens/greys, etc but I would've loved to have seen u use a similar style paint to the white stain u used on that Console/TV table.. The wood grain was too mice to cover up for me but each to their own pal. I love the style of this cabinet. It's really nice looking but functional as well into the bargain. Is that what the Shakers were noted for?
Keep up the great work
Thanks for you kind words! Color choice is always yours, of course. The Shakers weere known for their quality and functionality in their furniture. Wes

Wes: why the climb cuts when routing the round-overs?
Probably because he doesn't know which direction to start the router
Hey Wes, why did you not put primer before the paint?
Primer was not necessary with this paint. Thanks for watching, Wes
Is there a reason why you used nails and not glue on the main frame of the cabinet?
It's a painted cabinet...so why shouldn't I? Thanks for watching, Wes
👉💥💯
Thank you...I appreciate you watching the video. Wes
Grey? 😢 Otherwise ❤
Lots of different colors of paint available....thanks for watching. Wes
