Pete Whittaker took Toby sugar multi pitch trad climbing. If Stefano did a collab with Pete to do some multi pitch climbing, that would be pretty awesome
I think multipitch could be really fun for Stefano, as it's not that on the edge, but I do understand even that he is more a maximum performance climber, and multipitch might get away the best shape from him, as it could not be that intensive. Anyway, this video was pretty fun
Stefano (and the editing) is just effortlessly funny! Also, wow, what a star-studded video. I can't believe you got an interview out of the Crack Boyz and Magnum Meatball.
What do you mean non-comedic? Have you heard of beta-glasses? The GrippO gloves? Re-onsight? Stefano is professional comedian, although he's pretty handy at climbing too 😉
Agree, but Maan, this is risky too so you definitely have to put in count the hours personel had to stay on a small ledge waiting to cross the climbers for their safety assistance
good job guys! stefano’s channel is getting better video by video. this self-deprecatory comedic style is perfect for him and its making the channel super entertaining 😂
Great video with the best interviews :) And about suggestions: I think you did great in 6:05 on ladders. Maybe you can focus on that kind of climbing in the future ;)
Great vid! I think the format of the race is really good, it's suspenseful to watch it! And i love the interactions among top climbers on TH-cam, it feels like they are creating a new marvel universe, every vid/movie has the main character but also some others appear 😁
The format is cool, reminds me a bit of the head-to-head Psicobloc Masters comps they used to do in SLC. Always fun to watch. You should definitely try outdoor multipitch, it adds a totally different element. AFIK there still isn't a 5.15 multipitch anywhere...Sharma was working on one but never finished it. Would be a cool colab with you & Ondra!
Mamma mia.. non riesco a immaginare che fatica deve fare Marcello a portarsi appresso tutti quei muscoli.. tanta stima per lui davvero, e grandissimo Stefano come sempre bel video! Tanta roba.. continua così!😊
This was awesome! Congrats on the third place! I loved the interviews with everybody teasing you, and I almost fell off my chair laughing at how you went through the crack section xD
Great video !! Best vlog of this event and amazing to see how many great climbers competing. I hope these events continues and id love to see more of you competing in over the year. Best part was seeing you do something you havent done before and enjoying it.
This is actually a great demonstration where the difference lies between the best of the best, and just a professional climber. While the other team was able to race you up to the very last problems, they just couldn't keep up anymore in the last two sections when the problems got really difficult.
The scene with Tom saying "I don't think it's gonna go well. Honestly, I don't think it's gonna go well." and Stefano dping crack moves in the background had me rolling!
You guys ”rocked“ the wall!! Very inspiring to watch live Stefano and Marcello climb that day on the dam and very fun to see some behind the scenes on this video! Interesting climbing competition format, I hope Red Bull will organize this event again next year! Keep training for the multi pitches and some crack climbing 💪🤣
Absolutely world class. Having everyone doubt you to getting third and beating your first time by 20 min with a number grade harder pitch at the top is wild
At 10:21 Stefano grabs the chains of the anchor. Is that allowed when climbing? I've never done a multi pitch but I would have assumed the anchors are not allowed to be used to ascend.
Generally no, hauling on gear voids the free ascent. However, this appears to be acceptable for the competition format here to facilitate the anchor construction for swinging leads while under a time pressure to minimize technical needs and safety issues. As well, there are a myriad of historic anchors which do end at rather blank sections which I would say throw in some connection then pull yourself in. Most with lengths of chain and similar are at more secure clipping stances.
Molto bene, first post covering the event more fully . It only misses a brief explanation of what is a multipitch, rules of the event and more detail into the crux of the route. Still first post I have seen and just bellissima ! Secondo bring Bombardi to Manikia and Siurana, climbing and camping
For sure you should go and try hard something different and out of the comfort zone. The world is full of wonderful places that you can explore. Be brave and awesome!
Nice video!! For something really juicy, some jamming test pieces with the Wide Boyz would be top notch!! Could start in Tom's cellar, and then, a crack route in Sardinia or Orco or recovery drink or Pete's chimney at Gogarth.
Being one of the strongest climbers in the world is cool and all, but you should definitely go check out the other things climbing has to offer. Long multipitch climbs are such a fantastic experience, and trad multipitch adds something else to it too. I don’t know how the content would be, but you should definitely go do some big multipitches just for your own experience
Awesome! You should hop into France and hit the route called Rivière Kwai in Ailefroide. It’s a super beautiful place with all manner of great climbing.
Pete Whittaker took Toby sugar multi pitch trad climbing. If Stefano did a collab with Pete to do some multi pitch climbing, that would be pretty awesome
well that would be out of the comfortzone for sure :'D
I want to see Stefano in a basement crack session.
I think multipitch could be really fun for Stefano, as it's not that on the edge, but I do understand even that he is more a maximum performance climber, and multipitch might get away the best shape from him, as it could not be that intensive. Anyway, this video was pretty fun
@@freerideshuttle his max performance will be needed when the multi-pitch is ONLY crack climbing, the whole way. 🤣
Oh that would be so awesome! Pete needs to take him up some mossy wet cracks! 🤣🤣🤣
Stefano trolling Magnus with the title of this video is the best thing to ever happen on TH-cam! 🤣
The side interviews are too funny 😂 great video Stefano!
Also would love to see some collabs with magnus and the wide boyz
Can't believe Stefano has climbed for 18 years without trying multipitch! Cedar's reaction was perfect 😂
Cedar: "Yeah, no. I think you're going to send"
Also Cedar: "No fucking way he's going to send." 🤣
@@devonm8578 also cedar: your onsight is my hardest route ever
@@rdtarcade7644 Cedar is maybe the physically weakest professional climber on Earth, which in my mind makes him a legend and a hero
more common than you'd think for these pro competitors, unreal as it seems.
@@zombiebopper so he sucks and that is why you like him lol
I love the constant roast of the community towards Stefano hahahah
Stefano (and the editing) is just effortlessly funny! Also, wow, what a star-studded video. I can't believe you got an interview out of the Crack Boyz and Magnum Meatball.
Wow, you sound like a trad dad with all that hating. You forgot to mention the expensive chalk Stefano used
That commentary from the WideBoyz was so on point
All in all it was such a nice event you guys rocked every aspect of it ! Amazing
Tom wasn't wrong, either! Elevator doors all the way.
This must be the funniest non comedic climbing channel On TH-cam 😂
What do you mean non-comedic? Have you heard of beta-glasses? The GrippO gloves? Re-onsight? Stefano is professional comedian, although he's pretty handy at climbing too 😉
More multipitch!!! A collaboration with Magnus midtbo!! And crack climb with the wideboyz on real rock!!!
The black and white flashback to Tom and Pete in the yellow section had me crackin’ 😅
This is amazing. Would love to see things like this in competition and accessible to more climbers.
Agree, but Maan, this is risky too so you definitely have to put in count the hours personel had to stay on a small ledge waiting to cross the climbers for their safety assistance

20:59 The pump is real! Nice to see the elbow grab is a tool also used by the professionals 😂
time for some multi pitch with wide boyz and magnus!
Those interviews and the pan to stefano are great hahahah
Great vid! I think the format of the race is really good, it's suspenseful to watch it!
And i love the interactions among top climbers on TH-cam, it feels like they are creating a new marvel universe, every vid/movie has the main character but also some others appear 😁
Hey Camp, I'd love to see Stefano climb a multipitch using only Tricams. Make him earn that sponsorship 😉😂
Seconded
Camp makes ballnuts too!
Great stuff Stefano & Marcello! We just couldn't wait to see this video, so enjoyable.

That was quite funny. I like how Stefano enjoys others taking the mickey out of him.
the wide boyz always make me laugh. I just love there devotion to crack.
This was awesome! Congrats on the third place! I loved the interviews with everybody teasing you, and I almost fell off my chair laughing at how you went through the crack section xD
using the 'ripping the holds apart' technique)))

I was waiting for this video, and I am not disapointed! Great job!
Just a fun competition.
I was really enthralled in your 3rs place race, well done!
Bro the way Stefano was staring at Giuliano had me rolling 🤣 @9:39
I think people would love to see you on some adventurous trad multi pitches!
This video Made my day!! The Climbers of the interviews are really funny😂 Big up Stefano!!
17:04 "Marcello Bicep Bombardi" killed me
The scene with Tom saying "I don't think it's gonna go well. Honestly, I don't think it's gonna go well." and Stefano dping crack moves in the background had me rolling!
Loved all the shade fellow climbers through on Stef, great video!!!

Great video! I was surprised like Cedar🙂 I think do some big wall climbing in Arco could be awesome.
Love to see you redeem yourself in the eyes of Pete by doing a session in the wide boyz crack cellar
Awesome, so nice to see you all together!
What a perfect climbing competition! Would love to see you do harder multi-pitch outside!
Molto bene, first post covering the event more fully . It only misses a brief explanation of what is a multipitch, rules of the event and more detail into the crux of the route. Still first post I have seen and just bellissima !

Love the mockumentary style
Have been waiting for this ever since you mentioned it!!
Rely loved this format
The moment with Cedar Wright is too funny 😂
Such an awesome video and loved the humor!!!
I would love to see some more multi pitch content and a collab with wide boyz.
Vi invidio. Siete due potenze della natura! Chapeau.
Cedar struggling to jumar at 18.05 🤣
I am dieing at the elevator door crack section. Too funny.
Very interesting! I love the interviews.

Lmao the elevator dooring 🤣🤣

it would be nice to see you more on multipitch
Super interesting format, let's do it again!
LOL They had a cooler full of drinks waiting for them at belay!
I knew Pete would say that!
Great video. Congrats!
Are these indoor grades? It doesn't quite look right for the grade.
Damn nice work
Best video you have ever made¡🎉🎉🎉
Next video: Sufferfest 3 with Cedar - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 20th multipitch climbs all in one weekend lmao
Nice for the cameraman to be able to join a competition
This was awesome!!!
Multipitch is the life man!
Maybe some hard Arco multipitches would be nice?
Dawn Wall next?
What a great competition!
What was the time of the winners ?
definitely want to see you trad climb
Would love to see some multi-pitch!
Ma cos'è il video alla fine? 🤣
More real rock multipitches stefano!!!!🤣🤣🤣💎⛏️
Finalmente QUESTO video🫶🏼🧗🏻♂️
Now you are ready for the Dawn Wall
Magnus must have been just hanging out watching and not competing..... he had his shirt on lol
I think you and Adam should pair up and climb the Dawn Wall for the speed record.
The elevator door move! 🤣
Dai Stefano ti vogliamo ingaggiato in qualche vione alpinistico in giro per il mondo. Next step 💪
I'd love to see you on more muli pitches 🤗🤩
NEXT: DAWN WALL ;)
Go for multipitches it was very entertaining
@steghiso how about Hotel Supramonte on Sardinia? :)
Very nice, thank you! :)
Can't wait for the next episode, when we'll actually find out Stefano never tasted pasta ...
Now that you know how to multipitch, when will you trie the dawn wall
Amazing I like it..bagus banget sangat menghibur dan sangat bermanfaat trimakasih
This is like a very good video.
I’m sorry I’m new to climbing but there’s only one rope? That’s seems so sketchy… and what if both climbers fall at once?
