Thanks for sharing your experience. I really like the Smartwings livery, and I’m glad they have decided to operate these flights. I remember hearing about these flights a few months ago. It really is a great idea, that other operators should consider.✈️

Can't agree more with you, people just want to fly. Those flights sold out the first few days they became available. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks!
I'm currently away from my sim flying the real 737, so I doubt it.

I wanted To fly but the price was too high in my opinion. 35000 HUF for a window seat wich is more expensive than a Budapest - Prague - Budapest trip with Ryanair (2 flights) for example.

Thanks for watching Laci! That is a good point. I believe some countries still imposed testing and quarantine requirements when this flight was taken, therefore perhaps some people were not keen on getting stuck abroad, hence they preferred to pay some extra for this experience.

Even though I am usually an aviation fan, I find this kind of flight "to nowhere" completely irresponsible from an environmental point of view. I'm a little disappointed that you are part of it, because I really appreciate what you usually do for aviation.

Hello Valentin, I have to disagree with your point of view. Passenger traffic in Budapest at the moment is down by approximately 95%, and three 45 minute flights do not make much difference. Regardless, aviation has more purposes than A to B travel (see general aviation flying). Perhaps us aviation lovers have a different mindset, but research shows that air travel in high density cabins can be much greener than other ground means of transport. Airlines are struggling to survive, and a little bit of PR and extra cash while keeping crew current contributes to their survival. Thanks for pointing out your concerns and I completely respect your opinion!

I for one love this concept and wish they would do it in USA because I love to fly ❤

@@greatflyer_aviation Completely valid reply. Airlines and the travel industry as a whole face economic catastrophe meaning the loss of thousands of jobs, and the calamity flow on to the entire world economy.
