I am in awe of this vlog! I now know that the seat of our experience is within us and how we are within ourselves is how we see the world. I think you are in an absolutely beautiful place within yourself, so beautiful that the beauty of creation is overwhelming. I have been there many times and I am always awed into silence because there are no words to describe the truth of what I am witnessing. Seeing everything as it is, without the filter of my mind distorting things. I wonder, had you done this trip a few years ago, would it perhaps have held the same magic? The beauty would still have been as it is now, but how would you have experienced it? This is a masterpiece of a vlog. The Gorilla trek was the best gift I gave myself in 2022. 🦍🦍There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY of describing that experience. 🔥🔥 I went back to my hotel and bawled. 🥺🥺Majestic! Incredible! Fascinating 💯. I even got over the fact that they required us to take a Covid test prior to the trip. I could understand why they need to be protected!🦍🦍 I would absolutely do it again 💯 Beautiful video Sharon ❤️
Oh my goodness I feel so validated in hearing someone else share this reaction! I’m not much of an animal person, like I’m not wild about safaris, for instance, but there was something so magical about this experience. I totally feel you. 🤎🤎🤎
@@SharonMundiaVideos the group I was assigned were on their 6th trek and paying 1,500$ each. I didn't understand why until after the experience 🦍🦍 Mind-blowing!!! 🔥🔥 I've been to many Safaris around the world, but the trek tops them by far 💯💯💯💯

Sharon, why is it always the simple things. . . . . .The sunsets, the water masses, wild animals that have always been right there?
We, unconsciously, take the simple things for granted.
I almost couldn't contain my being happy for you as you expressed your gorilla experience, the beauty you felt that the camera couldn't share with us. . . . . . .the simple things. . . . . .(and yes, you come from a country that doesn't quite fully appreciate it's water masses - not just the lakes, which include lake turukana, but the masses of water that's our dams along the Tana River and Turkwell. . . . .and the Queen of them all, The Indian Ocean, from Tanzania's North Coast to Somalia's South Coast.
Your gorilla experience trumps our local close to wildlife encounters mainly because you were deep in their habitat. . . . . .and that includes shedrick and ol-pejeta. Only sitting with an adult lion can equal it.
I think you were in need of a breakout from a soul jailed by monotony predictable expectations. . . . . .🙌 👏 🙌 👏 😊
My wish for you is never to go back where you were, but for the tears of amazement to open you to enjoy the simple, the warm and the always readily available ten times more than you have in your past.
May happy, beautiful and warmth be right where you are, be it rain or in the rain, be it cold or in the cold, sun or under the sun ,(the puffy white clouds, the outdoor shower, the wood on furniture, good tasty food you've learnt to cook, your daughters voice, her laughter, her singing. . . . . . In the beginning of the video when you compared their beautiful rolling hills to hollywood...I was kinda rolling my eyes like you couldn't find ANYthing organic on the continent to compare it's beauty to, you had to reach to the most fake, manufactured , artificial, man made,plastic city in the world as a comparison? I started the video disappointed by that comparison and am glad you found your way back to see and celebrating what we have in africa and letting it stand on it own because there is no place in the world like africa and it's time start celebrating it's value.
