How is it for you guys? Still going well? I also consider enrolling this year but I don't have any science background. Can't say I did great at math and my programming skills are at basic level so I have doubts if it's a good decision or not.
I saw something like this a while ago - I think the girl in that video recommended the Linear Algebra/Calculus/Stats gammit, so I think you should be good with up to vector and matrix multiplication, and topics in transformations up to the spectral theorem and the SVD will be useful for ordination, multidimensional calculus topics and cover DEs; normal ODEs should be enough, and go pretty hard on statistics, with all the PMF/PDFs, z/t-stats, get the LLN and there is usually a unit specifically dedicated to regression too, which usually includes ANOVA, SLR, MLR (being the generalisation of those two), some normality tests to check your assumptions like quantile-quantile, and resampling techniques. There's more that could certainly be useful, like learning about manifolds, or multi. dim. stats - I guess it depends on where you wanna go. It's likely you're gonna learn all this in your undergrad too, but if you're a self-study, I think was the general sense from the video I saw.
Do you study CogSci in PhD degree? Can you give me some advice about how you got accepted ? I have a Master's in Psychology but want to switch it with Cogsci for PhD. I don't know how I can make myself prepared.
Thanks for the video, it was very informative. I just got accepted to UCSD for cognitive science and I'm super excited!
Cool I also just got accepted to UCSD for cognitive science as well.
mrburns805 Do you enjoy it so far?
Yes so far so good.

Mehail Sunny how is it now
Thank you for the video! I’m looking to pursue the exact same major. It definitely gives me a better idea of what I would be getting into.
Can you get a master's in Computer Science if you get a bachelor's in cogsci?
Yes, most people get master's in something other than their undergrad.
I did bachelors in comp sci and did masters in economics, haha. It depends on requirements and if you’re ready for the course.
What maths topics do you i suggest get familiar with before starting a cognitive science degree?

What topics of math did she mention?? and can a undergraduate psychology student get a master in cogsci?
I’m an undergraduate psychology major looking to get into cognitive science as well, but I’m more on the neuroscience side of things.
She mentions the best professor of Cognitive Science in the world. Who is she referring to?
My kid has similar interests how could i reach what e u doing right now
How can we reach you
Feel free to reach out to our email computingpaths@ucsd.edu and we would be happy to answer any questions!
i love taking me some cogs too!
Oh no Wakaba ishki WATCH OUT !
thanks
Bro she is fine as hell.
She’s so cute..

My math sucks, otherwise I would take the course for PhD
