just did this although my imac is pretty much brand spanking new just wanna make sure its all good ...and it made a big effing difference lol so im glad i saw your video man thanks alot
@1ROSETV Glad to hear it, mine was only a few days old as well and seemed very slow so did some research and found some forums with this advice. Wanted to share.
@MrKelton10 Sorry for the delay getting back, busy times for me. To answer the question, NO it does not wipe anything. For whatever reason some iMac's simply are not setup to default to the main HDD. This simply makes sure it is. Good Luck!
and if you dont mind me asking where are you getting your ram from? im lookin to throw some into this thing just looking for best options...that is if its something you ordered online

As for the ram, picked mine up from OWC online. Think at the time paid $65 for 8gigs, now that can be as low as $45 on Newegg or similar.
