IMO, there's no one at this tender age, or adult that can interpret this song in this manner and make us BELIEVE her .. the angst, the regret just comes from somewhere inside her that has no name... The things she makes us feel many times and words we use to try and describe the feelings are inadequate... A special artist of this era... I love anything Angelina does, at any age, but my favorites are acoustic Angelina with just a guitar backing her. You hear that incredible, mesmerizing voice full throttle. When Angelina was 12, she did several songs with her accompanist, Ivan Mendez. Like today’s song, they are magic. I’ll suggest another one with this same combination of Angelina and Ivan. Like today’s, they’re just sitting down and jamming. It’s her cover of “Stay”, made famous by Rihanna. I usually like Angelina’s covers better than the original.
