Ah, beautiful Guernsey. You’re so lucky to live there. I used to go there every year on holiday growing up and even lived and worked there one summer when I left school. It’d be a dream come true to go back and live there permanently now but I haven’t worked how to do that yet - open market properties are way out of my price range!!
It's an expensive place! But at least you have great memories. Best way to get here if you're flexible is to get a job with accommodation included, and then work out from there
@helloantoniotraveladventures Thanks! Yes I'll keep an eye out for jobs over there. Fingers crossed I can find something suitable. It's a really special place!
Bianvnu à L'Aerporte de Guernsi, so considerate of them to include the local language to keep all those non-English speaking Guernsiais informed, and to amuse the myriad of francophone tourists. A pleasant walk from the aerporte to St Peter Port. Loving your flight tracking skills too, I never knew that Specsavers was a Guernsey company, something else I've learnt today.
Hiya! Enjoyed the vid, thank you. I will have 6 hours in Guernsey in mid June and am curious for recommendations with what's possible to see and do in such a short space of time please. Plan is : Into GCI Airport 1025hrs and departing 1625 by Condor to Jersey. Thanks for any possible input. 👍
Hi Phil, if you're adventurous you might want to walk it via the little chapel! If not then maybe bus 71 to the little chapel, have a look at that and then head into St Peter Port and discover its charming streets. Lunch at the de la rue and a walk around the harbour before taking the ferry
@@helloantoniotraveladventures sounds fabulous man, glad I asked now! Thank you, sounds very much like a plan and will follow that sound advice. And keep up the good work, always enjoy what you do, I'm sleeping overnight on Condor too following your example but that's from Jersey the next day. All in mid June when at least the days will be long if not guaranteed to be dry. Cheers 👌
@@helloantoniotraveladventures cheers, I feel like I will do for sure, that's in June. At this moment in time I'm sat in Southampton Airport departures hall having used Parkway station. It's all very functional and uncomplicated like you said with the distinct absence of miles to walk in the process, all airports should be like this 😀

My advice is get a job first then find another one you're here with a permit 😉

😂 A pleasure as always Dik, hope you've had a great weekend!
Great walk. I come over in May but I will take the bus 😀
I don't blame you with the narrow roads, especially if you have lots of luggage!
