Wondering about the cam setup! The footage is really high quality, but one thing I noticed was the stabilization. Looked a little shaky, not bad though. And of course, the riding was INSANE. Julian is going to do some insane stuff.
Yo! Camera is the GoPro Hero 12 with the Max Lens Mod 2.0. Agreed on the stability, I believe that the lens mod reduces the amount of light intake and hinders the performance of the stabilization 🤘🏼 Thanks for watching!
Bunny hopping doesn't help with jumping too much in my opinion, but going to a bike park with a jump trail in order to get a lot of repetition in will help you a lot 🤙🏼
Hey, really awesome video! I just bought a gopro and i was wondering if i should use 30 or 60 fps for mtb. What was this video filmed in? Keep up the good work bro!
I have 6 bike parks within a 30km radius from my house, I still ride the same old trails most of the time I'm very cautious choosing who I ride with I don't like to be too close to strangers on a bike. Served me well 😅
Man if I could I would its just here in Mexico there few bike parks and not as nice as in the USA or Canada....I do have a big hill with trails in front of my house...but its rough no maintenance...I think those in the USA or Canada should consider themselves fortunate...at least the government invests in protecting national parks and bike parks are more common.
I really need to get out to a bike park I find myself too addicted to trials riding tho but I have noticed that trials skills translate well to the big mtb You should consider getting a street trials bike it can take your technical abilities to another level

i havent been to a bike park before
Worth checking one out 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Northstar in Tahoe is maybe a 7/10 bike park at best, but it's the most fun I've ever had, period.
That is rad you have a good time there 🙏🏼 Would be stoked to check out that park sometime.
Northstar has insane tech but a few good jump trails. Still a fun place!
@@rohitsengupta979 Thanks for the info!
I miss the laps at Highland! Smooth riding!
Doesn’t get any better! Best trails around 🤘🏼

Julian is an inspiring rider for sure! Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it! I use 30fps for MTB and shoot on a GoPro Hero 12 🤙🏼
@@PeterJamison thank you!
Anytime 🤘🏼
Highland looks so sick, man! That slopestyle trail kind of reminded me of banana peel. How does Highland compare to Trestle?
It is such a rad park! Much shorter runs than Trestle, but more action packed. A different style of riding no doubt 🤙🏼

🤘🏼 That is a lot of parks!
Nice!.. How’s your comencal treating you? Has your preference on riding a slightly smaller bike changed for riding at bike park?
It’s solid 🤘🏼 I will share all of my thoughts on the sizing of it in my FRS bike check dropping next week 👊🏼 Still prefer a smaller bike…
Right on! Looking forward to that video 🤘🏽

Was this filmed on GoPro max 360 ? Cheers 🎉

Definitely very fortunate in the US and Canada!
what are your color setting for gopro i've been using a hero 9 with a max lens mode but can never get the color look that you or reed boggs get
This video might help you out despite it not being specifically about the max lens mod: th-cam.com/video/QHKMYLT7w84/w-d-xo.html 🤙🏼
