    Spoke with a few lads from the Ordinance department during the 1916 '100 year memorial' show in Dublin in 2016, really professional guys, let me wear one of their gas masks, take a look at their bomb disposal suits and even let me get into one of the Mowags.

    Great add, but low wages and allowances will keep our best and brightest from joining our Defence Forces. Shame on the present and past government party’s for a failed and badly thought out reorganisation and in 2012.
    Pay our Troops a Living Wage.

    I'd love to join the defence forces the only thing stopping me is the pay.

    I heard our ordanancce corps helped train american in afghanistan because we were so used to dealin with IRA IED's. How true is that?
