Please whatever you do, do NOT use your phones in the shower/bath! IP ratings are based on FRESH water intrusion. When you introduce soap (or salt water so no oceans!) into the water, it changes the surface tension of the water (soap breaks it, which is why the whole "add a drop of soap to some water to make a bug catcher" life hack works) and that can result in the soapy water getting into parts of the phone that may rely on the surface tension of fresh water to prevent entry (speaker/mic holes mainly) You might be having a very sad time with an out of warranty repair at that point.
Anecdotally, I've dropped my pixel 2 into a sink full of soapy water a few times while washing dishes and it was fine. I wouldn't recommend making a habit of it, but it should easily be able to handle incidental splashes of even soapy water. As long as you're not submerging it in the tub on purpose to take underwater videos. The ip rating is for fresh water, but it's also significantly higher than "incidental splashes."
Not to mention you don't have to bother with charging them or replacing them after a year or two because their battery is dead. For people that like having headphones while walking outside maybe wireless is good to avoid have a cable bothering them, but if you just use them while sitting home watching vids or listening to music then wired headphones are just unbeatable.
