I FOUND THE RAREST NICKEL MINTED IN PHILADELPHIA SINCE 1894! COIN ROLL HUNTING NICKELS | COIN QUEST

- In this episode of Coin Quest, I am coin roll hunting another $100 box of nickels in search of rare and valuable coins for my nickel collections. This box of nickels had a huge surprise for us! I knew it was rare, but I didn't realize the uniqueness of this particular coin until much later. And there were plenty of other finds along the way, including some old coins, some new coins, and some Canadian coins that I still needed in the collection. Thanks for watching and happy hunting!

Thank you so much for getting young and new coin collectors in the hobby. I have been collecting my whole life, 60 years + . I very proud of my collection, it spans form 600 bc to today. A Type Set any one would love. I came from a family of 5 kids and from that today over 60 kids grand kids and grate grand kids and not one is in to coin collecting. So again Thank you for getting people into the hobby.
Everyone else: I need toilet paper!!!
Quin: I need coins!!!
😂
That looks like a die crack on the '63. If it is raised above the surface it's a cracked die. If embedded then it's just a scratch. Hard to tell from the video.
You are my favorite coin roll hunting video. Video shows clear view of finds, video moves at perfect speed, talk is just the right amount.
Thank you Steve, I'm glad that you enjoy the vids!
Love the live opening rolls! I think the 63 is a proof, my amateur opinion!!
Have a GREAT Day!!!
Very nice hunt thanks for sharing
Enjoy watching the unwrapping of rolls of coins!!
Congrats on the 1955 philly !
HOWDY DEAR QUINS COINS IS A JOY KNOWING ABOUT YOUR GREAT TIPS😀👍❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🗽🗽🗽
Thanks for the great show!
Thanks for watching!
Way to go,great find.
At first look, your 1996 nickel looks like a far 6 variety.By the way, great find on your `55 Philly.
24:22 I had that same thought! I haven't been able to find any 2020 coins at all unfortunately, but I feel like they're gonna be like 2009 again.
Yep, I have heard that they are showing up now. Only time will tell how limited their production will end up being
The only 2020 I’ve gotten is an American Samoa state park quarter
I just realized my first 2020 quarter had a pic of 2 bats on it!🤔 thinking it's the samoa also? Now I'm hearing BATS are being blamed for spreading this virus 😬🤦♀️..Stay Safe!💯🙏
susan Diffee it is the American Samoa quarter
@@QuinsCoins I got the 2020 cents last month.
hey is the 1939 a DDR? I found one recently and you really never know unless you check.
Awesome, thank you for sharing...
Cool finds, I too am still trying to find the elusive 55-P
Hey Quin, congrats on the key date! HH & stay well!
If it isn’t a scratch, then it could possibly be a die clash! Which could bring some value to the coin. If it’s a proof, you should be able to see some of the luster on the fields. Good luck!
True scratches in the die create a raised mark
The Nickel King! Very nice find! Just found 2 silvers back to back in my most recent vid! Keep going with the quarters they are out there! Maybe try some loose rolls from banks
Looked like a far 6. There is also an attached 6 but way harder to find.
great hunt enjoyed it good job
Thanks!
Congrats on the find. Don't do much coin hunting but do enjoy your hunts. Keep up the great finds bud😊👍
Didn't realize the '55 Philly was so rare! Saw the intro and went to look at my jar of finds. Had two 1955s and one was actually a P! Thanks for the insight, great video!
Yeah, me to I have been waiting for them forever! they look so cool!
Yeah I'm in new hampshire , see plenty of Canadian coins
awesome find...I will collect a set of the 2020 coins, nice tip......
Yeah, I agree with you about the 2020 mints. I suspect that they are gonna be low, with the pandemic/ economic collapse wiping out demand for freshly struck coinage. Why spend money striking coinage that no one wants because all the shops are shut? Do you think the mintage of 2020 silver Eagle's will be lower?
I've actually found the 1955 nickel before! Also my album says the mintage is 8.3 million, so there's a third conflicting mintage figure.
Nice! What is the brand on the album? That is super weird...I'm gonna have to go with the redbook number over what others say, but I'm still curious
@@QuinsCoins It's a standard Whitman folder.
Me too, my book says 8.3 million minted. I think it could be an error in the actual album, i checked in my red book and it says 7.8 million minted.
Circulated 7,888,000 plus proof 378,200 = 8,266,200, rounded = 8.3 M
I had gotten one in my coin jars or holders.
Nice looking 55 Philadelphia
I have a 1943 Jefferson nickel. With the letter P how much does it go for?
Hello is there any value to the nicel from 1943 with the P mint mark?
Hello there. How much for a 1943 nicel with the mint mark letter P?
We also get Canadian coins in Tennessee
That Canadian is a 1996 near six.
Good work need buy books need Dirrecion
U can find older coins in upper lower Michigan and in upper Michigan
Cool coins
I have 1 with a P on top of back!
That’s war nickel! Year= 1942-1945
Went through a nickel box last week. Nothing great, but I did pull a 1940 King George nickel. I'm willing to bet it's EX40.
That 1963 appears to be a proof to me too
Lol when I started coin collecting I already had a 1955 P Nickel in one of my piggy banks!
Nice!
For your 1996 Canadian coin, it looks like a far 6 I think it's a far 6. I live in Canada, so maybe I could help you find missing coins in your Canadian book....
also found another nickel with full step but on the front of the nickel no date or face.
Hey, Ryan how are you doing?
Not too bad, thanks for asking!

Quin's Coins I’ve been busy! But living life. Congrats on the 1955!

Could be a 3 over 2.?
I have seen you in Michigan
found 1994 p nickel but the other side is 1996 p nickel both heads on both sides.
Of course he is back at it with Monticello (if he remember my comment a few videos ago)(I just realized this is 4 months ago so he had this problem for long)
also find a 1999 p nickel double die on both sides.
1969 look for the s mint mark.
Near 6 I think
