Great video, bro! I began Coin rolling in 2020 but haven't done it in over a year because I'm just either too busy or just flat out tired. These videos keep my enthusiasm for the hobby going. This eventually lead me to metal detecting, hoping to find silver coins or gold. I have a few "W" 2019 and 2020 quarters and now I'll be looking for any 2009 coins as well.
Thanks Quin, always enjoy your hunts and your company. Regarding your watching for '24 quarters, I just last week did a box from my bank in Northern Virginia & it was stock-full of 24s, including several rolls solid of sames, so apparently straight from the mint. I'm closer to Philly but these should filter down to y'all soon (you're in NC now, learn the lingo). By the way, you're right about that one clean-clawed Alaska quarter you got being unusual- so many (most?) have the claw error that I stopped paying attention to them.
They must have made a ton of those Bicentennial quarters because I still see them in change to this day. I remember collecting them as a kid in the early 90's.
Two days ago, I was rewarded for my penny hunting efforts with a 1909 V.D.B. in very good condition. I still can't believe it! I saw the wheat reverse first, and I took quite the doubletake when I saw the initials!
@ 26:32 you mentioned the US Law says nobody living on currency. But in the 1992 Olympic set, the Dollar commemorative coin has Nolan Ryan on the coin. The mint says it isn't, but the designer said it was most definitely the person he used. Oopsie...
Found my dime binder. Coin show on the 10th. Looks like I need 32 silver Roosevelts. Ouch. You have to watch out because people were trying to sell worn common silver dimes for close to $5 each. One seller was right at spot or close to it and I was the only one looking.
@@QuinsCoins Neither have I. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago I discovered that they were fewer minted like the 2009 nickels were. Add 1955 P to your mat too. Very low mintage! GREAT VIDEO!
Do you ever think about keeping the bicentennial half dollars? I noticed one tonight. I collect the bicentennial quarters too but I think any bicentennial coin is pretty cool.
Yes, All war nickels will have the mint mark above the dome. Fun fact, the 1942 war nickel was also the first coin to bear the P mint mark for Philidelphia.
I am going to let you know of a dime that you can find that is worth a lot....1982 roosevelt no P......now for this information please send me a complimentary set of placemats🙂
@QuinsCoins What is your best find in penny rolls? Mine I got today, 1902 Indian Head Cent. By the way BEST COIN ROLL HUNTING TH-camR IS YOU this is coiming from a 10-year-old btw
Is there any reason a Bank would refuse to sell half dollar rolls? I've asked my bank twice and both times, they just say no. I've even asked if I can order them, same results, nope. With no explanation. Weird.
Thr only 2024 quarters designs I've gotten are the Mary Edwards Walker and Patsy Mink. Strangely haven't found any of the Pauli Murray ones.
I like coins and trains
AT 20:59 THAT IS A COUNTER CLASH SEE YOU MISSED A VALUABLE ERROR MORE THEN THE DOUBLE DIE'S
I can already tell that this video is going to be good

I heard of an error on the bicentennial quarters????

In 45 years as a "pocket change collector" I only found 4-5 war nickels.

He meant no US President.

Are you saving the 2024 P and D mint Jefferson Nickels?
For sure! I just haven’t come across any yet

Where did you get the white cloth gloves your wearing?

I don’t think about it with the halves just because there are way too many of them in circulation so you’d end up keeping probably 10% of every box
You'd go bankrupt in a few months. 1/5th of halves I've seen are bicentennials
1972 and 1982 Kennedy half-dollars can have a variation with no FG on the reverse side.
I opened a box of half dollars and have pulled out 68 dollars worth of NIFC mostly 2018's.
Over the last 5 months I haven't found a 2018 P that i need for my dansco 😑😅
@@user-reddit-reader I've got a bunch. I can send you one if you really need it.
@@user-reddit-reader IF you need one, I don't have a problem sending you one. I've got quite a few if it would help fill you up.
where/how do you keep your low mintage/more rarer coins?
I have 12 'W's now.. just found my last 'W'... couple days ago
one of my last nickel hunts gave a 1902 v nickel
Do all war nickels have the mint mark at the top of Monticello?

Dollars always seem to produce the best in these hunts. Six hole fillers in his vid by my count.
I got my first roll of $1 coins to hunt… 25 2011P James Garfield coins…
Is this common?
Annnnnnddd short 4 coins
Second also amazing video
Quin I tagged you on my YT channel cuz I might have an error coin that you might know of
