What do you mean by “unit”?
Common Sense really appreciate you taking the time to run these points home.
I have hit $2000+ on parlays alone but like to stick with the most reasonable things.
For me, certain players are a guarantee in Anytime TDs for example. Same Can apply for Player passing TDs. Although, you will notice this will be the thing to make or break your parlay so tread lightly.
I enjoy building my parlays off of Rushing Yds, Receiving Yds, And Receptions. You of course have to do your homework, study the matchups, weather etc. But these things always hit easiest.
You can very easily build a parlay off of just volume (yds/receptions only) and turn out a great payout. Im only speaking from experience, and have noticed that the more I stick to volume the more easily my parlay hits.
If you are going to make riskier additions to your parlays - Anytime TD Scorer, Player Passing TDs etc. - Make sure you really analyze the defensive matchup, offensive scheme in end zone in previous games, and injury reports as these all will factor into the outcome.

Dude I just pick the great teams to beat the bumm teams and it almost always hits , I hit a 42 leg parlay last college football season . Also like you I do throw in player props as well , especially passing TD's .

Great tips! I’ve gotten to greedy because I’ve won thousands on 10+ parlays but now I’ve lost over $500 past couple days & I just need steady stream instead of random maybe big hits

@@CallingOurShot I control my units per wager and try to secure at least 10 researched single wagers at 1 unit for every 1 parlay at about 1/4 unit.

@@CallingOurShot I realize that most people just lose money on sports betting. But I'm approaching it from an investing point of view. You can't expect large gains on a day-to-day basis. It has to be incremental and slow and steady kind of like being in it for the long run and never taking a huge risk at any one time. My friend did that...haha
@@alittleofeverything4190 totally agree with you. You can’t expect to double you account in one day, but slow incremental increases build up over time. Very same thing with day trading the stock market and things of that nature

Yes I found the bests way to do it so you don’t have so many games is spread/total combinations you can hit reasonably with 3 games

@@seansmith633 He probably bet live games of teams literally actively beating their opponent by a lot. Maybe I already said too much 😂 try it, and Flex Parlay it if you want, I kinda just started but SO FAR I rarely lose. Fingers crossed.
Lost my ass off yesterday In parlays after 2 weeks plus of winning… definitely had to take a step back and re evaluate my betting habits. I’ll bounce back and bet safer but it definitely sucks haha
Betting parlays is risky, and something I rarely do. Numbers suggest it’s way too unprofitable.
It's fun to make those crazy pay out parlays but not for more than $1 or $2 per bet. Same as lotto, in my opinion better chances.

Straight bets are the way, only way, parlays can be fun, but I absolutely hate them, dont have the emotional fortitude to miss a parlay by a leg, I rather go 4-3 on straight bets, building my bankroll slow, havent made a deposit in the sportsbook in over 2 years, just nice n slow build

I always bet favorites especially when I watch the sport and know how much better that team/fighter is than the underdog. I was one leg away from hitting an $40 11 leg full of favorites w a payout of $1,498 😭 all because the Braves lost to the white Sox 😭

2 or 3 leg parlay is the way to go! You have a 50 to 70 percent chance of winning instead of doing 4 to a 10 game parlay! Bet small not big all the time!!

Units are a percentage of your bankroll. Typically 1 unit is 1% of your bankroll and so on!

"If your first 3 legs hit and you just need the 4th leg to hit, that's a great opportunity to hedge"... Why didn't you just make it a 3-legged parlay?
You could say the same with a 3 leg parlay after the first 2 hit…why not just do a 2 team parlay? Obviously it’s bc when you are placing the bet the more legs you add, the higher the payout is. That’s the only reason anyone bets parlays. He’s just saying hedging is a good idea sometimes to guarantee you at least win some money instead of one.
What do you mean by “unit”?
Unit means your minimum bet amount. If you normally bet in increments of $5. Your unit size is $5. If someone says play 3 units then you would bet $15.

Don’t know if you get these offers in America or even have this feature on the books there but in Australia we get offered Bonus Bets if a leg fails, so at the moment on one of the books they have “receive a bonus of up to $50 back if one leg fails on a 4 Leg NBA multi”

Never do parlays with the NFL, you have a better chance with College Football
