Thanks! It's my pleasure and I hope that you take these ideas and alter on them to make your own caches!

Do you require people to bring their own 9V battery or do you include that there at the cache location?

where did you get this motor? I've been looking for a good one for a cache that would need to be let down and brought up similar to this

+Miksu Sarja yes I found a few that would work. rigged up an on off switch at the bottom of a tree and ran the wire all the way up on a branch to let an apple (the geocache) down then back up. but somebody left the switch on and it burned up so I need to replace it.

You could try cutting off the top portion of a 2 liter soda bottle.

The only issue I see with these caches are the hinges and the locks. You need to put them to where the screws are COVERED! So many build them with the screws outside to where it only takes one screwdriver and 30 seconds to open it up.

that's not how a geocache works, you don't destroy it to get in.

I know this... but that doesn't mean people don't do it. I've seen it happen, ask WVTim. He's had caches opened before.

Alright, didn't think real geocachers would do something like that. Quess that makes them not real geocachers.

@SeeYouSpaceCorgi I have the cachers bring their own battery. I suppose that you could store a battery in a tupperware container, and turn the cache into a multicahe of some sort. The possibilities really are endless.
