The idea that Ares is a non-rapist and protector of women is not exactly accurate and is largely a generalization at best and straight up incorrect at worst. It’s a nice modern retelling/reinterpretation of Ares’ character but largely inaccurate. The only person he did defend from rape is his daughter-he is not a woman-protector in general. Quite the opposite; as the god of war and specifically the brutality aspects of war, Ares has never been a “protector of woman” considering the brutality of war and sacking cities basically always includes the rape and murder and enslavement of women (Ajax the lesser famously raped Cassandra during the battle of Troy and Ares was on the side of the Trojans), to say he’s a woman protector is incorrect. As for him not raping anyone, we have no surviving records of explicit mentions of rape (many myths did not survive) but even in the examples that did survive, he’s explicitly stated to have used deception (shape shifting) to trick women into sleeping with him which is rape. The idea he’s a woman protecting man who looks down upon rape is objectively incorrect when looking at the textual evidence. HOWEVER, one is open to reinterpretation and relating to a god or goddess and mythology however they want. We just have to be more aware of the ideas we propagate.

Name?
Blood of zeus 😊
I did just fight, because to ask the god of war to surrender is kinda dumb
So Eveyone complaining this might have been a problem that the writer might have just picked one of Apollo's stories and gave it to Aries
But I mena is still bad when Lore Olympus dose better god characterization than you
Come on.
Ares was the only bad g god besides Hades who never forced himself on women and never cheated in Greece mythology.
