This version and the first post-Siobhan era the groups image was very moody. Like they were too cool to give a fuck about anything. It’s the mystery that gave them the vibe you’re talking about.
im sure this song is like this because of Siobhan, she was very edgy and sultry even in her solo music theres this type of darkness. after her leaving it heidi def made it turn into sexy girl trio.

Doesnt it just. I think this line up actually had music very very ahead of the time. That's why this sounds amazing in 2019when compared to crap out there. I think the singles only got to number 13 and the album didnt do as well as it was new and fresh then and people weren't necessarily ready for it
Profound introspective songs never seem to rate as high on the charts as pulpy repetitive garbage. These require so much skill to craft, honesty and soul baring clarity all the while mascarading as disposable earworms. Love this song, it goes deep.
It's sad when you listen to this song knowing Siobhan wrote it, and was feeling bullied in the group. It's good they're friends again but it's still sad looking back. It must've been hard for her :(
I remember this song!! Back in the day i was surprised at how well written, sung and produced this track was. Even till now it's still amazingly real. It's rare to hear real pop tracks like this!! This one is a gem.
I remember sitting in front of MTV Hits! Back in 2001 and this came on for the first time and I was instantly in love! As soon as it was released, I went and bought the CD single. Absolutely adored the original Sugababes. Such a shame Siobhan left so soon as when she did, they lost a piece of that magic that made them special. I'm glad that they put past events behind them and reformed. I'm so excited for this next year, to finally have new Original line up Sugababes album!! ❤❤
I was in the middle school when this song first came out and I was so much into Sugababes back then. It's now more than 20 years since the first release, and I think this song sounds even better now. It aged like fine wine.
the last shot is so powerful, knowing that siobhan wrote it about her experience in the group. everyone is sitting together, but there she is in the back, standing alone...
When I first heard this song it sent chills down my spine twenty years ago and twenty years later I heard this song again it still sent chills down my spine
Here I am in October 2019 totally reminiscing. They release a new song friday. Feels like we have all come full circle. The One touch album was something that surely helped me back then and I can really appreciate it more now! Always loved the original lineup.
Well it's official now that they are back! They've got a new song out at the beginning of September called Flowers. It's a cover song to do with a Garage classical concert they are going to be part of. It's the 20th Anniversary of Overload & One Touch next year so expect a tour and a new album! 😁
Back then we had nobody our age to relate to in music and sugababes provided that. That like dark street style and deeper lyrics and beats. Loved them and love them even more now !
the lyrics still hit as hard as they did back then, especially knowing everything Keisha went through 😭 they've all gone through so much. I hope the future is bright for all of them

It looks like it was shot close to Siobhan’s home.. cause she just walked to the set. Mutya and Keisha had to take a cab 😄 anyway, this is my fav Sugababes song + music video ❤
They should make a film about the sugarbabes and include their rise to fame and the struggles they all went through. Perhaps through Keisha’s perspective and how she got treated. It’d be an interesting one to tell I think and play all of their songs as part of the soundtrack.

Their songs all catch in a way the sense of fear and loneliness of a Londoner.

So underrated, they were the alternative pop girl group
They were all 15-16 years old there.
